I feel for Ray as he is done now, but when your a pro football star you get paid well because your talented and kids look up to you , your fans watch every move you make, ya it was a big mistake but you can't beat your wife, do the drug gig ,to many eyes on you! The league has many problems they need to fix! Sorry but you can't turn your back on these issues!

My biggest gripe is that the NFL and Ravens already knew what happened and were willing to let things be until the video came out. They knew he knocked her out and I am sure they didn't think it was during a pillow fight. He is lucky not to be going to jail. He is 100% wrong for his actions, I am not defending him, just silly that the harsh stances by the NFL and Ravens are coming out now because of the public outcry from seeing the video. I am sure the NFL saw the video way before it became public.

Yes, he may of got what he deserved, but Goodell and the Ravens organization screwed up too. Goodell? What a joke on how this was handled. TMZ can find this video, but the NFL with their billions could not? Give me a break
Rice had a nice front loaded contract, so he will do fine with the millions he has already been paid.

Forgive Ray the man. How we are all in their personal lives..!! His wife forgave him, he had a punishment and now the masses clamor for more... How about we clamor for self-counseling,marriage counseling,anger mgmnt., forgiveness,etc... To clamor for a mans livliehood to be taken from him and his family,how shameful. Do you care for his wife?,do you volunteer in shelters for abused women? how often do you yell,argue,spit on,hit yr own spouse? has yr father struck yr momma? shd yr father/uncle be in jail?stripped of his livlehood? forgive ray ray, let him play vs the steelers, let him work ,lose his problems on the field where he belongs.. i forgive u ray rice. u was wrong and i forgive you as yr wife done.
