History of anything but good deeds.

Fuck the entire media and every person out there that is outraged.

If his wife forgave him then it is good enough. IMO.

Suspend him 6 games and then let him back.

He is now fucked forever due to an event he was forgiven for.
The person he hurt forgave him now they all suffer.

For what? People who pretend to care about domestic violence.

Go after the rapists first. Go after the drug dealers first who infest white kids all over America with Heroin. Leave this dude alone and let him pay and move on

Sorry man, this crap is unexcuseable. Just because his wife likes money and chose to be stupid and forgive him and be even stupider and stay with him I chose to think he's a scumbag forever. Him fighting with her is like a grown man fighting a seven year old, no excuse to just slug her regardless of how much "good deeds" you think he's done in the past. You sound like someone who has beaten women himself the way youre trying to downgrade this. Grow up

My life is fine man, Im not sitting here with no job and the world hating me cuz I punched out my wife.

You say "who the hell are you? and I'll tell you. I am someone who thinks an NFL player punching out a 120 lb woman is despicable. Some things aren't just "mistakes" man. A mistake is being late to work, forgetting your car keys, or even rear ending someone in your car. A mistake isn't punching out your wife and dragging her out of an elevator and just flopping her head on the ground like she means nothing. He is only "sorry" cuz he got caught and she's only backing him up cus he has money. When he beats her again she'll play the victim card.

Just because the victim supposedly forgives doesn't mean I have to think he's some great guy that "just made a mistake."  Get real and stop defending wife beaters

Speak for yourself man, youre the guy on here defending an NFL player who knocked out his 120 lb fiancée.

Easy to see how this happens so often when guys like you start making excuses and asking for immediate forgiveness for a horrible crime. Pretty friggen sad of you

It's time to set an example. These fools are over paid in my opinion, but should be setting examples for younger people. Many of them are thugs and out of control. His wife is only there for the money. She will get hit again. You can take that to the bank.

I mean without the fame he would be a dumb behind kid kicking his behind in the streets, now he was wealthy and made a HORRIBLE mistake as she did she, on film

and we need to set an example??

Set an example and take away the TV and the FAME

Attend a game for 25$ again in person

You guys are missing the bigger picture.  This isn't a moral stand by the Ravens or the NFL for that matter.  This is a PR move, plain and simple.  My opinion or yours from a personal standpoint won't make a bit of difference between a man and his wife.  If she forgives him, good for her and God bless.  I don't have to live with him, and neither do any of you..

As a representative of the Ravens and by proxy the NFL, then whether she forgives him or not means nothing.  The public outcry against the video is monumental, and you'd be hard pressed to find anyone in the media or in the NFL front offices across the league to voice any opinion other than one decrying the incident as vicious and barbaric,

The NFL and the networks that broadcast it cannot be associated so openly with a "wife beater" AT THIS POINT,

Ray Rice is a damn good football player.

America is the land of second chances.

After he's been out for a season, and shows contrition at the proper scale (Oprah, The View, etc), he WILL get another chance to play in the NFL.

Just not this year and never with the Ravens again.

    Ray Rice past

    NFL running back

    Ray Rice future

    Unemployed former NFL running back

As for the woman in this case

She supposedly forgave him okay thats her business but whatever she does I hope she doesn't forget.

To say should this happen to her again she better be packing her bags.

People it's all a PR game.  Goddell made his move my suspending Rice 2 games.  He gets pressured by the public(mostly women rights group).  Changes the Policy to satisfy them and to make him look good and someone who doesn't "tolerate" domestic abuse.  Everybody happy right?  Nope.

My guess is that an employee at the casino  sold the video to TMZ.  He should've sold it to NFL(probably would get more $$$).  TMZ pretty much pulled NFL's and Raven's pants down making them look incompetent scumbag.  Now Goddell and Ravens have to take action (probably a coordinated move).  They look good again and all the attention now is on Rice.  So when the garbage hits the fan, Goddell, Ravens, NFLPA...it's every man for themselves.

People will take action, not for the good of society but to restore their image.  It's how these people operate because good image = securing their position = more money and power.

The weird thing is this move actually hurt Rice's wife since Rice is out of a job and her standard of living will surely decrease.  But media won't mention that side of the story.
