really?? so they respect some NBA teams more then others so they just go ahead and pick and choose games where they decide they REALLY want to play harder??

The Cavs have to get by the Magic a team they have major trouble matching up with! Don't give the title to the Cavs just yet. The Magic have beaten the Cavs 7 times in the last 10 games and are 10-1 against the spread in the last 11 games when they play the Cavs. This is not going to be a cake walk for the Cavs. The Magic have a shot and i think the series goes 6-7 games. The series price on the Magic might be a nice play.

As a Celtic fan, you should know what he's talking about here. You're telling me the Celtics brought their A games last year vs. Atl and Cleveland in the first two rounds? Of course not. If you've ever played sports, you'd know people tend to play to the level of their competition.
The only team I see playing their ass of regardless of their competition is Cleveland. They are flat out playing ball.

the celtics were 3-9 on the road last year and 13-1 at home in the playoffs to win the title....and I do understand where you are coming from with your point, but this was an extremely unconventional way to go all the way to win the championship....I don't think you'll see a very high % of championship teams playing 25% on the road and 93% at home en route to a title.....and i'd also say that denver is playing at an extremly high level right now, along with the cavs....they are undefeated ATS so far in the 2009 playoffs....either way, with the lakers picking and choosing their spots to play their best basketball they will be running into some serious issues against teams like denver or cleveland, who aren't taking "nights off" and are playing worlds better then either the rockets or jazz currently.....the way the celts got it done last year is not something u will see very often IMO.

Again to say it doesn't matter if you win in 5 or 7 games nobody remembers how many games you won the series in! Its if you win the series that matters just ask Celtic fans about last year they were the NBA cahmps do they care if they went 7 games with the Hawks no they just wanted the NBA Championship! That's what they play for not for winning one series in 7 games against a team they should crush. The Rockets are a good team even without Yao. These guys have pride they play to win not lose. I give the Rockets credit they played hard and gave the Lakers fits. Now its on to the Nuggets and i say the Lakers are a different team in this series. I think they beat the Nuggets and show why they are the best in the west! The Nuggets cannot guard Kobe they have match-up problems with Gasol and Odom they are not playing the Mavs. The Lakers would have beaten up on the Mavs just like the Nuggets did so lets not get caught up on how the Nuggets got to the West Finals. Yes they are playing well, because of Billups he is a great player. He is the reason they are in the West Finals. It will be a great West Final, but i still see the Lakers winning in 5-6 games because they know they are 8 games away from being NBA Champions!
