Did you know that only gorillas in captivity eat watermelons?  I was at the San Diego Zoo one time and they brought out some watermelon to feed the gorillas.  The 2 silverbacks ran around assaulting the other gorillas and stealing their watermelon.

Did you know that gorillas live in family units, but the father gorillas are rarely around?  There is typically one dominant silverback per family group.  Gorillas don't mate for life - the male gorillas typically have offspring from several different females.
