Well,let me tell you who I am.I'm a 4th generation American .Who believes in God ...someone you don't,,(as evident in the small "g "you use to describe Him)...

I believe the 2nd Amendment gives the people the right to keep and bear arms for self -defense and other lawful purposes and that right shall not be infringed...

It actually depends on what you mean by god (it is the same in all languages) if you are talking about different gods or a specific god you don't write it with capital letters - you only do it if you are referring to the God in christianity -> cause there it is his name

And who really cares about this it is Americans being happy that they more easily can kill other Americans - who really loses in this ! Unless the opposition was to ban guns or make it highly more regulated - America is a lost cause by now

It's pride month and their marketing ground game is strong.  The social media pressure and the sports teams tailjacking it bananas.

I've never been shot and only held up twice at gun point.  Stacked up against the numerous times I've been checked out or approached by the gays.

So anecdotally, it seems reform is needed and since one group has their website for streamlining, I do not see a problem with Don Junior's endeavor.

Why would you buy a gun if not to protect you versus other people with guns or to kill other people? 

If it was for hunting animals - there wouldn't be more guns than people in US

Ok, you added protection which makes more sense.

1) Because I can.  Simple and most reasoned answer.

2) Deterrence.  If you've ever been around someone open carrying you'd get it.

3) Protection.  Emergency Services where I live are 28 min away, why take chances.  Plus we have big game, bear, and big cats where I am so.

That should be enough to get you started.

Yeah protection from other people with guns primarily - but it is a viscous cycle - if guns are legal more people own guns which makes even more buy gun etc. and there are countries with more dangerous wild life than you where guns isn’t as legalised - but again I don’t care - as long as you guys are happy - why should I care - I would only mind you guys shooting each other - if you guys did - I don’t believe in bullshit like getting offended and mad on other peoples behalf

By the numbers, most don't shoot other people. 

Of those that do, more often the guns were not acquired appropriately.

But none of it matters because of #1.

Don’t you have something like 300 gun related killings each day ? That is close to one pr. 1 million citizen - that would mean Denmark should have 5-6 each day - we have 2-4 each year (you probably have 100 times that in police killings alone even if your bigger population is accounted for)

but to quote one of the American geniuses of our time: “we all have to die”
