Update on bats : The New York Yankees set a franchise record with nine home runs in a single game Saturday as they smashed the Milwaukee Brewers 20-9 at Yankee Stadium...... MLB quickly put any uncertainty to rest, asserting that the shape of the bat does not violate league rules..these bats will be everywhere in MLB soon..
Latest up-date on bats ..over the two games the Detroit Tigers have played vs. Yankees = Det 5 homers..NYYankees 0..
I guess you can't hit what you can't see..Detroit pitching has been lights out ..even with the new designed bats.

The Yankees made new bats that moved more of the wood into the label so the hardest part of the bat strikes the ball.
Remember the Sandman, Mo Rivera. He would still split these torpedo bats, run the cut heat up to the hands. You couldn't choke up enough, had to swing early and then it was a bloop
