Hope your 30th birthday is your best one yet Bets, 
but all the talk of getting old and life being on the downhill, made me laugh. Maybe I'm too much of an optimist, but believe it or not, aging is something to look forward too. Think about this for a minute bud. That beautiful little daughter of yours is going to grow up. That in itself is an experience that only aging will let you experience. I know it will be another 20 years or so, but when she gives you lifes ultimate gift of a grand child, your true purpose to be put on this earth will become clear. All the moments that you enjoy with her now, will be multiplied many times over with time spent with your grand child. Something about having the time to do all the things you had hoped to do with your child, makes you feel that whatever more you wished to do as a parent can be made up with time spent with that next generation. Take it from someone twice as old as you, the aches and pains, and all the rest that goes with aging is a small price to pay for the real happiness that lies ahead.
The best birthday present you'll receive this year doesn't come in a package, it's home sleeping right now, so make sure to let that little one know, she's the one that makes your birthday and everyday special. Never wish a moment of that away.
