What's something that has benefited or helped black/brown people to get out of poverty and not encouraged them to stay on the government tit. Obama phones, "Affordable Care Act" and that housing travesty do not count as it caused more credit. The Democrats want to keep black/brown people poor so they can depend on their vote. No you didn't name billS. You named a single bill as in ONE Bill. The First Step Act is relatively new and we do not even know the effects yet. 

Obama and DEMS have countless bills aimed at assisting Brown people, Affordable Care Act (Major success in getting millions health insurance), Freedom to Vote Act, the HELP Act, The Raise the Wage Act, and many others. 

Interestingly enough, your GOP that you claim cares about Brown people so much stonewalled or attempted to block each one of these bills from passing. I wonder why??? I can tell you it isn't because your party cares about brown folks. an_light

I am not sure you want to go down this road, it is too windy for you to navigate -- especially if you are going to obliquely use USA Today as a reference.  Try to use history books and news articles at the time to explain: "History shows democrat party didn't start the civil war to preserve slavery".  

Are you going to say that the war was NOT about slavery?  If NOT -- then WHAT what they fighting for?  I am very keen to hear from a Leftist that says it was NOT slavery -- this is very new to me.  That would be very, very unusual for a Leftist to say.  Or are you attempting to say the Democrats at the time did NOT support slavery and later Jim Crow?  So, overnight, the parties decided to switch sides wholesale, on one of the major issues in the history of the country?  I am interested in how you are going to back this up?  Where did some Leftists decide all of a sudden I am for racial inequality so now I am switching parties? an_popcorn

It's not my party. I am an Independent, left leaning before. Until all this fake genocide on black people BLM crap started and identity politics, the crazy what's a man/woman etc. I am a common sense person and most of what the left stands for is way off from normal thinking. I used to discuss investing and things with gambleholic63 a lot.  This is not the same guy.

Even if it were, does that out-of-hand dismiss his point(s)?

If you think so -- I would just not reply.

That guy did not seem like the sort of guy that 'anticipated' getting banned -- so had multiple accounts.  He just seemed to get upset in the political forum a few times and got banned for calling out a guy or to, etc.  

I do not see the need to go right to calling someone you disagree with another person.  This is new to me.

This is what the left does. They get someone who they don't agree with and call them fascists and want them banned. I posted the article and it stated the poll. They just don't want to believe it. I have been on this site for 18 years, I don't care enough about anyone on Covers to make up a fake name.

It wasn't just the NYP. -- you can find their (TIPP) poll on more than just there.  Multiple places quoted it.  I am sure as many Liberal ones did not.  But it is not really any different than other polls as far as divulging exacting who was polled?

This was not the only poll that gauged the sentiment switch on this issue.

I mean ask around, or even ask yourself, if maybe that would have had an affect on people's opinion.

Look up the source of the poll. Unreliable and incredibly biased. Not all polls are created equally. an_light

The poll isn't even given a grade or acknowledgement as a legitimate source by 538 or other poll tracking sites. Should tell you a little something about how accurate, reliable, and trustworthy the poll is. Of course it is quoted by conservative outlets. It suits their narrative about Hunter Biden. Come on, not hard to figure out.
