Off dvoa: #23, Def dvoa: #12

Off epa per play: #23, Def epa #6

Aaron Rodgers:

Epa+cpoe composite #26, one slot lower than Trevor Lawrence. 

Success rate #27

Completion percentage #28, only qb's worse are Trevor Lawrence, DeSean Watson, Bryce Young, Jordan Love(what?) and Anthony Richardson. 

Was Robert Saleh really the problem? Hackett and Rodgers are the poison apples in the Jets garden of eden

Washington's #2 ground game will go up against the #1 ranked run defence.

L10 home wins, EAPs average win margin is 17+.

The Bears DB's have surpassed the Vikings for the #1 spot in epa. Don't say I didn't tell ya. They run more cover 3 than any of the other top 10 units.

This just happens to be Mahomes kryptonite. Do you guys smell a Bears SB?

P.S. Bears Strong Safety Jaquon Brisker didn't make the flight to London because he's in concussion protocol. Apparently not just rocks in his head. The Bears are saying that if he passes protocol he could fly to London to play in the game. That just sounds highly unlikely to me though.

The Chiefs have run the fewest defensive plays while trailing this year, at 48.

The 49ers are at the second fewest at 49.

KC is 5-0, SF is 2-3

In SF's 3 losses they have made 15 trips into the redzone, for an avg of 4.3 per game.

The NFL avg is 3.5 per game.

9ers have dealt with injuries to their best players, hold-outs, distractions, and bad luck.

They have also started 2-3 or worse in 7 of the last 10 years.

SF is very much alive for a playoff run peace_5

KC is well coached and has schemes that allow for a player to drop out and be replaced by anyone and they don't miss a beat....niners the same really....they may drop off in offensive output sometimes but the next man stepping up seems to fill the void from the player they replaced even if it is a star player...this is the well coached aspect....not many teams can do this but these coaches know how to game plan to fill the void and that is a talent that does not get discussed all that much....imagine all this with the niners without mccaffrey too...when he comes back the team is entirely different and it will actually affect both sides of the ball....

 That Dan Campbell post Lions trend you posted, get this, and it makes sense. 

In games following the Detroit Lions game, teams are surrendering 189 rush yards per game. 

That Lions o line is literally beating the shit out of defensive fronts so bad, that the next game they aren't up for doing it again.

I knew in the back of my head that this was similar to the "post Ravens" trend that was so good for years. And that ofcourse was when Greg Roman was there, with a heavy run offense.

 About KC, and that game vs the Saints specifically, I think that was a masterclass by Andy Reid in full display. Not just the play calling, but the formations and type of rts they ran. 

They showed the Saints NOTHING of what was on tape. Fuckin 3 and 4 TE sets, and Mahomes looked like it was the offense they've been running all along.

I, like most of us were on the Saints, and I bet we all knew after 1 quarter that we were fucked. It was just one of those particular KC games where you didn't want to be betting against them.

On the flip side of that kind of game, why aren't we ever against the Chiefs when they win but don't cover? They've done that more than any other team the last 3 years, and by a mile.

I hate gambling.

 totally get everything you just said there, even the CAPS and use of correctly placed punctuation....

 

KC can be the devil sometimes...they are uber good in many key positions, but as you and others have mentioned several times in these newsletters, coaching is the one variable everyone forgets when capping....coaching got the better of the Saints in that game for sure...if it wasn't for the Saints defense holding their own the best they could that would have been a much bigger deficit....

 

KC just too good still and on path to win 3 championships in a row...how do you stop them....you don't...they stop themselves that's it an_speechless
