The "Mike McCarthy off a loss" trend just keeps getting stronger.
He knew he could win this game at half throttle, but opted to stay in high gear till the end.
BTW, I didn't know this until I heard it on the radio earlier today. Pete Carol has the best win % of all time coming off a loss, since he started coaching the Seahawks. I can't remember exactly but it was something like 47-19. Ofcourse this did not help Seattle ats backers. That tying touchdown pass by the Commanders was something else. Almost threw an interception on the play before.
One the brightest note of the day...the Arizona Cardinals won! The Bears draft position just got better.

The Giants (468) yardage differential was the most in any NFL game since 1979.
The 49ers bullied the Jaguars today. It was a fear of mine and why I wouldn't take a stand for the good guys.
Bryce Young has 14 completions all year that traveled at least 15 air yards. CJ Stroud had 9 in today's game alone.
Big D's comment that he could see a 31-28 final between 2 defensive teams (Brown/Shrimp) was on point.
The Shrimp are paper tigers.
The Chargers/Lions game was outstanding, especially with San Diego losing in an epic game just like it always has been and always will be. Amen.
How disappointing to have so much good football today and get stuck with the Jets tonight.

Im hearing that the Germantown Police were called to a disturbance at a local McDonalds eatery . Eyewitnesses said a man was vandalizing a cardboard cut out Grimace . Police said they are looking for a suspect for questioning . Male 6 - 6 foot 4 ...above average build wearing an older off white jersey and mom jeans

Pure gold. I love that stuff.
Talk about getting stuck, for the afternoon slate I had to be away from the red zone channel. The house I was at had only the Cowboys and Giants game on(Chicago TV market is awful). At one point every other game was tied. I'd literally want to watch Cardinals and Falcons at that point.

I feel the same way about the NBA which I know you love, but I haven't watched it for years. There is a foul committed on almost every possession, it's just a matter of when not if a foul is called. I suppose it's just organized chaos. Maybe that's a reason I watch a lot more golf and tennis these days.
