Ed, it's a sad little joke between Giant and myself. I accused that bloke of being an alias of his. Old mate came back with a reply and giant copied that reply to act as though he was the same guy.

Once again, Giants humour fails to make people laugh. It was a joke, as you can see by my post following Giants

It is some of the fastest humor I have ever seen..

Less than one minute after a post you saw it, read it, clicked reply, copied it, pasted it and posted it.

Number of times I have seen that, and NO OTHER following replies concerning the "joke" would be zero.

Wall.... It made sense to me.

 

Seriuosly, that guy MikeC.  is'nt a Giant alias...

How do you draw this conclusion, from something I have said in this thread? Or some outside gossip conversations?

Not sure about the shorts theory and you are creating WAY too many aliases lately...seriously.

Copying and pasting isn't that difficult - you just highlight, copy, then paste.   In my younger days, I probably could've done it in 30 seconds.

Maybe you should get Mike's phone number, I'll give you mine, and we can have a three way call. It will be difficult for me to disguise two voices simultaneously, but I'll do it so you can better understand the joke.

Not possible, the guy has probably created the most aliases I have seen, even more than the King Dope.

Once banned, getting back isnt accomplished by making between 5-20 aliases a day and saying even more bannable things in the mean time.

Problem is he knows this and he is so easy to spot that even if I looked the other way (which I do for periods of time, but I cannot do longer term) that it wouldnt matter..all the mods know him and ban him.

I didn't draw any conclusions WSC, which is why I asked you the question. Just because people talk outside of the site doesn't mean it's gossip by the way. I don't care if you choose not to comment, was just interested as I'm sure others are.

I also wont address your issue, there are way too many tenticles to this issue and unfortunately more people are involved than me.

Cant say much else in regards to your post. I do think you have made some seriously bad decisions and chosen to bash the linesman many times in the past and that does not help your situation, but that is not part of this discussion, rather a side comment.

sold half ,still got the rest,,im ok at these levels but not much lower,,as far as the shorts,,as u know there are a ton out there,,a little bigger move up and the sqeeze begins,,it has already,,plus we've had a double bottom and other technical shit as u know

cryagain, I dont see fear in the eyes of shorts in how stocks are trading. Today shorts dug in and kept the market from running when it tried to.

The downside risk is another round of financial disasters which could come in another month, plus historically an election summer season is terrible..I dont think we went down hard enough, long enough.

thats my point,,the shorts kept the market from running when in the previous big up days the trend was to sell into it the day after and u would see ba big down day after a big up day,,not today ,as u said the shorts KEPT it from being a big up day , the trend  of selling after a rally day is ending

yeah but we havent been able to have a 10 day period without some serious damage from a company and after seeing what happened to Bear, I know there are others out there who have similar leverage percentages (like Citi) and margin calls could come back again and take another name down.

People think that Bear and JP were close to equals, that is not the case at all. If you gave Bear its peak valuation, it is still about 8-10 times smaller than the current JP market cap.

I think another name might cough a hairball before earnings...a WM or C etc.

Well I am long to a big extent so I can handle a nice move into late spring.

i agree,other financials will take a hit, but at this point i dont think people care as much,,they are expecting at this point that the roof will cave in on some,,if this happend to bear 6 or 7 months ago, i believe there would have been wiespread panic,,now its almost as if itys taken in stride
