Let me explain.....The linesmakers already have the weather as a factor when putting out the line......They set it where they feel it should be......So if a line is set at 34......and people drool on the UNDER d/t weather....its just foolish.....as it is already presumed by the oddsmakers that the weather is a factor with such a low line.....All i am saying is to not make it a focus to cap a game....as it is already capped in the line......i will take a stab and say that the majority of football games played in inclement weather have probably favored the OVER the past 30 years.....

I brought this up in another thread. Snow is no prob for the patriots for sure. Keep an eye on the wind though......
In my past experiences on getting burned on unders from poor conditions, this leads to a no play for me.

Live in Chi and Bears fan. My play is 1st half under. it is not quite as bad as expected with regards of snow (at this point). Winds are starting to pick up though. My thoughts are that it will be wet due to snow melting until it starts to come down and temp drops. NE has DT's out again and are without LB and CB. Leads me to believe they are going to try to hold onto the ball a bit. Bears are going to try to run and keep throws safe for Cutler. The reason I went 1st half vs. game is that there will be less need to take chances for either team. If the score is within 3 or 4 points at half, I will likely go under as well. This could also be a good hedge opportunity. Go unders or 1st half and game. Then, if score is really low at half and game is 10 or more differential, take the 2nd half over and see if you can't win everything. All things consider, I feel like the 1st half under is the safest way to take advantage of the weather conditions. Monitor weather as we get closer to game time to make sure winds stay. That will be the key.

THAT GAME WAS PLAYED IN SNOW SIR, PLEASE LEARN ABOUT SPORTS WAGERING. THIS PLAY IS REGARDING THE WIND. THERE IS ONE FACTOR THAT AFFECTS THE NFL TOTALS AND IT IS WIND, I COULD CARE LESS ABOUT THE SNOW.

Right......You are wasting your time trying to talk any sense into Ncaafxpert......He thinks the weather should be a focus of capping a total in the game....he will tell you that you are wrong and he is right.....but look it up yourself....most respectable cappers pay little if any attention to weather....only squares worry about the weather
