Love that mentality. Shoot first ask questions later. Grow up covers. I am sure you do have to deal with people loooking to tout monthly but come on. Maybe a private message sent to him asking him to explain what he ment by his post before discarding him into the box. You had no clue as to his intentions but hey lets just assume the worst and cost the site a good person.

Covers need to realize that we are your customers. We make YOU money by making it a place for companies to PAY you to advertise to US. YOU get US to come here because of people like Barbs and GameHunter !! Not to listen to all the retards bashing each other. Covers needs to protect there assests by sticking the bashers in the box not the other way around. There are many, many, many other sites wishing they had GH and Barbs giving away free winners. Maybe its time to re examine what you wish covers to be about.

I know what i said before but this is just sooooo wrong that as a business operator it blows me away to see the way this site operates.

Whats wrong with tailing someone? I dont know baseball too well so I leave it to others that do know it better than I do. Thats the purpose of a forum, its the very MO of its existence in fact...I think whenever someone new goes on a streak , the whole crew gets paranoid about wannabe tout this and tout that. Until someone actually solicits money or advertizes, why not just leave him alone? Thinking the capper might be thinking about taking the tout route shouldnt be enough grounds for taking any action.

Thats just it I have no take on it one way or the other.. But only barbs knows for sure.. To tell people to STFU because you think your right ( even if you are STFU.. Come on grow up).. But have been in the game long enough to know bettors go on streaks when you find a hot horse ride him till the losings starts and jump on another hot horse if you want to tail.. Have made some nice coin doing this over the years.. Adding one hot players plays to mine..

Thats not the issue here. His streak is irrelevant, the problem is the behaviour. You do see a pattern there dont you?

No forsure. But what pattern did Barbs have other than makeing a statement that could have been taken many ways. There was no proof he was looking for money for picks etc. How jaded have the site mods gotten that they can't act like adults and speak to a customer before shipping them off to the box where they know full well he will just disappear.

Why would barbs or anyone want to contribute to a site that does not have there back when being attacked on a daily basis.

No the harm is done, And is continuely done everyday that the site allows people to bash others in anywhere other than the box. Barbs is long gone! And who can blame him.

You just don't get it. And neither do the people running this site. Ask yourself this. Why do people come to Covers?

1. They are very good cappers and like to share/ show off.
2. They are not good cappers and are looking to tail people who seem to know there stuff.
3. They just have the need to bash others and cause shit.
4. General sports talk and are trying to become a better capper.
5. Some people fall into more than one of the above.

However if you take away number 1 you start to lose everyone else. But the bashers. How does that make for a good site??

Thus i will say it again. If the site won't back players that contribute to the site in the only way that matters (picking winners) why have a site at all??

seriously why is GH in the box???? Barbs??? pimp just got out....They get there because after being beaten down on with no help from the site owners they snap and away they go.

I would agree with the boxing of anyone 100% if there was solid proof of touting going on but regardless it needs to be handled propperly. Business is business and this site for some reason (like most open forums) just dont see it that way. Like they some how are doing us a favor by allowing us to be on there site and make THEM money. It really is funny........
