    WNBL: 12-8 ytd
    Rd 14: 5-1

    NBL: Cairns pk
G'day all. Getting this one in early once again due to work commitments tomorrow. Really like the way Cairns are playing at the moment. They have built a very nice run on the back of some rock solid defence, a trademark of their finals run last season. The Snakes have kept their last three opponents to less than 70 points at home. That included wins over Perth and NZ where they held the Wildcats to their 3rd lowest away score ever. Cairns have been one of the better home teams in the league going 8-2 this season. Their opponents have had a couple of nice home wins but they have not been great on the road this season. The Tigers are 2-5 in their last 7 on the road and will be up against it here. I'm sticking with the great home team who are on a defensive tear. Good luck Melbourne, you'll need it.

LOVE the Taipans tonight. Melbourne over achieved last weekend by beating the Hawks in Melbourne but their road form is horrible and Cairns need to keep winning in order to keep their playoff hopes alive. Will be on them as well..

    GL this week Freddie..

Haha Peekay, don't hate United. Freddie does but I don't mind them. Just don't think they are good on the road though and they are up against a Cairns team that is 8-2 S/U at home this season.

I agree with Cairns at home, they play tight ball at the Snakepit.

I just 1) hate betting against a team I follow and 2) Melbourne are playing well and sure have the pieces to contend anywhere, any night.

But when the two of you are on the same side my money seems to want to follow

I might sit this one out but wish you both a winner!

    NBL: 32-14 ytd

    NBL: Illawarra -5.5

The Hawks are straight out ballin right now. Their outstanding offensive mastery has them looking like genuine title contenders right now. Illawarra has gone 8-2 in their last 10 with an average winning margin of 20 points per game. After a little hiccup at Melbourne they returned with avengence, smashing Sydney by 24 away. On the flip side NZ are in a slump. Their loss to Adelaide last round was ugly and another today could see them drop down to 4th in the tight run to the finals. The unfortunate reality for the Breakers is they are 3-6 away this season and are 0-2 versus the Hawks losing by 21 and 24 respectively. Can't see an argument for NZ getting close today, I think the Hawks roll on. May have a total play later also.

GL Freddie... What a game this should be tonight. No injuries that I can see and the Hawks are so dominant at home and have already beaten NZ at home before this season before they were playing so well..

My line is at -5 is that still a play? Thank you for your response !!!

Absolutely mate, would be comfortable playing this up to 8/9 points.

Yes I quite like the over as well but -5 is the best bet for this matchup. Good luck

    NBL: 33-14 ytd

    NBL: Melbourne TT over 86.5

Everyone knows I love a good trend and I've found a beauty for this game. Yes the Tiges are up and about playing good ball and Cairns are not great away from home. Well the Snakes seem to forget how to play defence when they travel as they have not kept a single opponent under 87 in an away game this season. Yes that's right, the trend is a staggering 0-10. I don't think I need to say much more here except hurry up and get on it before it jumps to 87.5 which it will almost certainly do very soon.

GL as usual Freddie. Like the play mate. On the full game over myself. Think Melbourne put up big points tonight

Thoughts about the other game? Perth in a real whirlwind right now and Kings playing for pride, nothing more. Do Perth get their mojo back and trounce the Kings like they did late in the 4Q of their last meeting or does Garlepp and Childress get hot from downtown and keep this within the number? Dont like taking such large spreads in this league

Got it @ 86.5 and like it.

Taipans morph into a cellar dwellar away from home, let's hope for much of the same tonight.

As for the Perth game, I can see them smashing the Kings but gee, 14 points...

Certainly leaning Melbourne but it wouldn't surprise if Cairns made a game of it late. No ATS play for me here. If your keen for another play then take the match total over.

Heard this before. Believe it or not I'm still liking the Cats ATS but I may wait for a bit of downward line movement first before pulling the trigger.
