    NBL: 13-9
    WNBL: 8-6

Just the one game tomorrow which I am looking into already. Hard not to take the over because last week's game was just insane between the Kings and 36ers. Well they meet again in Sydney this time. Will wait to see where the lines move and see what the 1H total is because they have been going over big time.

BOL this week forum, I am expecting some pretty sharp lines from now on as the books have some stats to play around with from this new season

So many flashing lights for a situational play on Sydney but just not sure they're good enough over four quarters to get it done..

Completely agree Jive. You would think they would want some revenge and also a win is needed as they are sitting last but how can they be trusted after blowing that 4Q lead last week. On the same note, will both teams push the pace again in this game with the total? Last weekend was craziness. The total was almost covered by 3Q time.

    Adelaide 36ers @ Sydney Kings: 36ers +1.5

Wow what a rematch, last weekend saw the Kings blow an 18 point lead heading into the fourth quarter. Watched the game, Kings were nailing 3's left, right and centre. Can they back that up tonight? Don't think so. Adelaide have the talent and depth with Randle being a sensational pick up. Dont expect the Kings to come out flying like they did the other night, think the 36ers understand that and will try to rectify the problem tonight. Think the 36ers win this game in a close one before they head back to face the Crocs in Adelaide and we all know the Crocs have turned into a bit of form lately.

Insane Rostos. Just no defense at all and sharp shooting from the teams.

    36ers

Not the way I wanted to start the weekend but plenty of ball left.

The defenses seem abysmal across the league. Not only that, but it seems that if anyone tries to play anything resembling defense, they get pinned for a foul.

The NBL is obviously trying to get higher scoring league

Yeah I think so as well Rostos. They are really trying to pump up the NBL right now. Foxtel, bigger crowds and 5 nights a week there is a game on. Its needs a massive revamp and Im really enjoying it this season. Some good players and some good imports. But agree, defense isn't the best but teams are jacking up a lot of 3's per game as well.

Didn't realize there was the "other pro basketball forum" already. In any case, the pace in the NBL is beyond ridiculous and the the slimmest contact always seem to result to a foul. I don't necessarily agree that the speed is brought about by the 10 minute quarters. They just play close to no defense. In the KBL, BBL, LNB, ACB they play 10 minute quarters but rarely do you see teams scoring 100 pts. What's mind boggling about the overs in the NBL is that it isn't even close to the total.

Luckily found this forum as well... been trying my luck on the NBL with moderate success as I tend to just back the teams with blokes I know in them and am totally against my hometown Wildcats, can't stand them! Definitely going to look at the overs though from now on...

Good to see you Tomo and Wallet on this forum. The more the merrier. Yeah this forum was created last year for all other leagues but I don't think many people know that it is here. I agree Wallet, books haven't adjusted yet, but the will. We will start seeing 180's soon. No much defence in the league at all but I have almost watched every game and there isn't that many free throws. Teams are averaging around 17 free throws per game. It literally is just run and gun down the court. Be careful playin overs now. Books will catch on and give us high totals. Teams that do actually play D are Perth, NZ and Cairns. Most nights. The hottest team shooting is Melbourne. Amazing team and good coach. BOL fellas, more games tomorrow across both leagues.

Hmmm, total of 164.5 for the early game with the Breakers/Wildcats. How do we not hammer this over? These 2 teams have already meet this season with the Wildcats winning 83-80 in Perth. That was one of the first meetings of the season when the totals weren't flying over.
Total for the other game seems low as well. Books aren't adjusting yet but maybe we are getting fooled into taking the overs again as they are now 10 straight. Maybe the totals return to the mean?

Melbourne United @ Cairns Taipans: Melbourne United TT over 41.5 1H

They have gone over this total every single game this season. Up against the Taipans who are the leagues worst 3 point defenders and Melbourne the leagues best 3 point shooting. Expect United to hit around 44 in this 1H. They hit 46 last time they played Cairns in Melbourne

Tough game Coach to call mate. I do like Cairns in this spot because they haven't played at home for over 4 weeks but as mentioned before, they aren't the best at defending the 3 ball and the United team put up a lot (average of 30 three point attempts per game). The line is very fishy as well, only -2.5 for Melbourne. They have done well on the road beating the Crocs and also Kings but those 2 teams aren't like Cairns. I would say Cairns wakes up in the 2H to possible win this game but man, its a risk going against this high flying Melbourne team packed with some very good players and the number 1 rebounder, Majok Majok so sorry Coach, I personally wouldn't play the spread but Blind Freddie likes the Taipans.

Hey Tigers, good to see you over here mate as well. I think this little forum isn't really known about because last few seasons the NBL was always posted under the "NBA forum" or the "other" forum. Good that covers created this other pro ball forum.

Looking into the WNBL games now Coach. I do like Dandenong mate. They got some players back from injury and they went to Perth last time on just 1 days rest which is tough for the girls as they don't play 2 games on a weekend often. Rested, coming off a good win at home last weekend. Think they can get the job done. Just waiting to see if there are any injury concerns
