Dont jinx my picks man. Im on fire since semis last conference. And I dont need to prove my skills in capping since my record justifies it already. Been destroying my bookie every week even in NBA playoffs, but almost all his players are down every damn week. I pity them so I post my picks here so they could atleast get some honey. NLEX Road Warriors (Asian Import: Michael Madanly 6'5") (Import: Quintin Alexander 6'7")
NLEX hanged tough on their import last conference to propel them to a better finish. This time they enlisted a highly decorated import in Michel Madanly. Tagged to be one of the best Syrian and Asian player of all time. He's a prolific scorer who doesn't shy away from contact. A very smart player who can create plays for his teammate. He is a step or two slower than he used too but shouldn't matter much. He is a tenacious defender who can force turnovers by himself. He can play up to 3 positions for the Road Warriors. Think of him as an older Jason Castro missing the first step.
The other import is 6'7" Quintin Alexander. He's a legit 4 and can play 5 in the PBA. He's has crazy hops and long wingspan. A very physical player who can run up and down the floor. Mostly known to be a dunker but uses a lot of his length to alter shots. He is average overall but is a work horse. I think he's a great fit for NLEX because he's an additional big body down low. He can definitely alter shots and grab rebounds.
Scoring has never been NLEX' problem. Adding additional help on the other block for Asi frees up a lot of space for their 3 point shooters. Madanly will more or less be trying to drive the lane and get to the line. Both imports are very used to the physicality of the game. I think NLEX addressed their needs just fine with these two acquisition.

Barako Bull Energy (Liam McMorrow 7'2")
A legitimate center. Liam McMorrow is NBA ready has great size and speed for a center. He can move around like a forward and can run up and down the court. He has a good post game and can occasionally hit mid range jumpers (very occasional). Liam is a great defender and can alter shots. Think of a 7-2" young Asi Taulava and you have Liam McMorrow.
PJ Ramos was successful in his debut for the Carnivals beating top teams with barely nothing in fold. Liam McMorrow will definitely need to bring a 30-20 type of game to keep the Energy afloat.

Leaning on Barako and SMB. Last conference Barako beat NLEX and that was even with big night from AT. Asian Import are expected to only go for around 15pts and scattered stats overall. NLEX' import isn't a scorer but more of a do it all defender. Koy Banal has been the best coach for Barako so far and I think they'll compete in this conference.
SMB with AZ will be too much for KIA. I don't think NDiaye will have anything on JunMar. They've fought in FIBA before and he isn't much of a scorer. He should norm 2-4 blocks but that's it.
