Hi everyone, it's that time of the year when you can smell the grass and know it's finals time....love this shit!

On a side note, a mate and I will be going to the GF this year with the day fully covered

Looking at this weeks games, so here are the ML's at present. Not going to guess the line as they will be out either later tonight or tomorrow morning:

Hawks ($1.33) Vs Bulldogs ($3.35)
Adel ($1.62) Vs Coll ($2.30)
Syd ($1.75) Vs Nth Melb ($2.08)
Geel ($1.17) Vs Saints ($5)

Interesting to note that the Bulldogs has lost 5 of last 7 games and have travelled to Bris, Manuka and Adel in that stretch.

Is Coll going to stand up? And what to make of Roo's last week's performance...

Let's see if we can find some winners...

I like the hawks to get a win. Bulldogs IMO won't challenge a close to full strength hawks. Last time at aurora the hawks were hurting with injuries.

And the cats to demolish the saints.

Not sure about the other 2 games at the minute, be looking more into them. Miracle do you barrack for the crows?

The Geelong line is only -29.5!!!!

I may have to make a rather large bet earlier than anticipated. I can't see the saints getting anywhere near that.

I might put some on them winning by 60 points or more, once I know the likely weather for sunday

Main thing to be careful of IMO regarding Geel is their lack of ability to dominate tall forwards as the Saints have a couple of these. And when I mean dominate...well this is the way we look at capping Geel games, let's be honest.  Should be intersting to see what the g-man has on this issue.

On a side note, Sportingbet is offering $2.50 for Voss to coach the Lions next year....only issue is that you have to wait until Round 1 in 09 before it can be resulted.  If you are prepared to wait that long then go for it

Very funny...when typing this at around 5pm I didn't realise that the decision had already been made, boy the Lions were quick.

Lines are out, so here they are:

Hawks -18.5
Adelaide -8.5
Sydney -5.5
Geelong -32.5

Still like the Hawks at this stage

Just looking at tonights match at the for now. I can't back the hawks on having to give up 3 goals to cover. I think they deserve favourtism but will most likely stay very close (within 2 goals) for the first half and possibly the whole match.

The problem with a lot of finals, not necessarily this one, is the second half blow out. Was thinking the hawks to get the win earlier in the week but am leaning the dogs to cover now.

I see Ben Hudson may be out for the dogs. I think he'll be pretty important for the dogs to stay competitive in the centre and still leave them with height options up forward.

Swans covered and Geelong up huge.

Yep, that's what always happens when I don't play them.
