I had Adelaide +10.5 when it first opened, it went to +13.5 I think and I got disgusted. Still barely covered with a 10 point loss, it was nice to see after a bad night of NCAA on friday.

Well done mate... ATS seems to be the best chance for us amateurs... I've never seen anyone with consistent success at the totals (too little data on margins)... Keep it up, read your plays readily

Thanks. I saw your question in your round 2 thread about reading and finding out where the money is. The sportsmate mobile apps for afl and nrl are pretty good for previews. Over the past few years I've moved more towards the afl shows on fox footy with 360 being the best I think. Afl website of course is probably the best being a direct source of information. Knowing where the money is going betfair, I don't know if any odds services will tell you like they do with American sports, I don't need those paid services and will never use them.

GWS +18.5 @ Sydney  Me Swannies have had issues with GWS and this is a reasonable shout.


Gold Coast 40+ vs Carlton  Toss up here.  The line is spot on and if the Blues come out animated, could hold it under 40.


West coast -18.5 vs Fremantle  Tough call.


North -24.5 vs Melbourne    Another tough call.


Bulldogs +6.5 vs hawthorn  Man, I want to LOVE the Doggies, but something doesn't seem right.  Good luck to you on this wager.  It's either so right or oh so wrong.


Geelong -56.5 vs Brisbane  Defo.  I'd back the Cats 39+ usually, but considering their poor start to the season, they will be aiming for percentage.  One aspect of AFL that helps us punters.  60+ or bust!

Does anyone know why the Crows are only a short favorite against the Tigers?

I want to hammer Adelaide, but this line scares me.

Probably because of the derby but that was a one sided match I'm not looking into it too much and think Adelaide should be bigger favourites than they are
