What are your thoughts on the O/U? I have two parlays that hit. A 4-teamer and a 5-teamer. I have NYI/BOS over 5.5 goals on each ticket. This was a last-minute filler game in my tickets....and it's my last play. It is a big payout if it hits. I am looking to hedge...but Betcris line went down to O/U 5...at -133
They have O/U 6 at -215....which is heavy juice. Honestly, I do not follow hockey--though I do bet it live at times. I did not know about the injuries on BOS side.
Anyhow, do you guys have any suggestions on the best way to hedge it? I am definitely going to hedge. No doubt. Payout is too big to let it just play out. But would love some suggestions. Thanks in advance.

Sucks the juice is so high on that 6 but you have 2 tickets so you could easily cover your initial investment and hedge for any profit you want to secure. I'm not advocating hedging (in general), just giving my opinion on the situation. Some around here are vehemently against hedging. I myself like to play around with plus money odds in an attempt to guarantee profits. These revolve around futures bets and not hedging parlays.
BOL to all

Thks for these gems you guys dropped. Yeah, the only reason I am hedging is cuz the payout is large. I think I have no choice but to go and bet UNDER 6 GOALS. This way, at least I have a tiny shot of middling and hitting OVER 5.5 and a push if it ends at 6 GOALS....Whereby I would collect on both over 5.5 tickets, and recoup my "hedge money".....does that sound right to you?
I see no real point in betting under 5...or am I missing sth ?

Agree totally. So then u think over 6 is the way to go? Even with the juice? I am willing to put in some extra loot in case I hit with the under...6. Just to up the hedge payout a bit more, should that turn out to be the winning play

I put in a lots of other 4-6 team parlays, all containing NYI under 6.....and I just hit a couple. Only game left is ISLANDERS....They each pay out a nice amount if the under hits. This helped me to reduce my out of pocket hedge money....not the ideal long-term way to gamble...but it saved me a lot of money, since you know multi-teamers add up....I should now be very close to cashing in almost equally, no matter if the game goes over or under....thanks for your advice, buddy. Might kind of you to take the time.

THANKS FOR YOUR COMMENT. GOOD STUFF. I just posted above this, what I ended up trying...and thankfully it is working....fingers crossed. Much more at ease now, for sure. And YES, you are right in your points. The payout was just too big for me to NOT hedge and just sweat it out. I have been burned ugly before--having blind faith.

TO THOSE WHO REPLIED TO MY QUERY....THKS A LOT TO YOU.
Today was a friggin' good day. I deposited 2000 bucks into my account 4 days ago...just to try and recoup a week of lsot wages--as my company gave us a week's vacation on 4 days notice. Just wanted ot recoup some of that.
On the 1st day...I went to to 29K. Promptly went crazy and went down to as low as 11K.
Today, I have been at it really since last night. I was literally betting on Australian, Japanese and Chinese soccer. I was determined as fuk....to make something happen. Yeah...I was chasin' like a mofo
About literally 35 4-7 team parlays later...most losers...I hit big. With this NYI over...if it holds...I will end the night at around 50-54K....as I have other tickets pending. I really, really needed this. I had lost 80K of my savings chasing over a 3-day period a few months ago at a casino. I tend to turn a little loot into sth big,....but usually give it right back. Pray for me, guys....I wanna hold on to this pot....and BOL to everyone out there. Gamble responsibly.
