It's a penalty cause it was a hit from behind...wat's so hard to understand??  If you don't think it was from behind then that's where we would agree to disagree...but hitting from behind is a penalty

hitting from behind was a penalty, but that was no way near hitting from behind. They hit shoulder to shoulder and the bigger man won the hit.

i'm not going to argue if u think that was shoulder to shoulder.  watch the replay on youtube or something, at best the hit was to the back of the shoulder...not directly numbers but from behind nonetheless.  What do u mean the bigger man won the hit...he was the only one doing the hitting...rome didn't even take one stride after he backhanded the puck away...

Ironic coming from a guy with a canucks avatar. There was no hit from behind. Okay your right the bigger man did not win so i will say stronger man. If everyone keeps buying into this headshot BS the NHL will soon be a non contact league

"Know call"  ????     Well, that hit from behind into the boards was similar to Ben "not-so" Eager"s (remember him ducking Rypien?) hit from behind into the boards on Sedin when the Sharks were being humiliated. Why was that not a call? A deliberate intent to injure (yet he couldn't finish, perhap's that's why he was scratched tonight)

I didn't bet the Sharks nor the 'Nucks but I think the McGinn hit should have been at most a minor penalty.  Rome should have anticipated him coming and he didn't even protect himself at all.
