Hey Clepto, nice job homering for your team. I can't blame you a bit.  The Canucks play great defense and quite arguably have the best goalie in the league, BUT the young, fast, gritty Black Hawks aren't gonna just lay down like you think they will.  I'll take the Hawks in Game #1 after the long layoff for the Nucks and then see how it goes.
And you Red Wings' fans who think it will be another easy sweep here in Round #2, you have another thing coming. The Ducks are for real!  They play defense, they have veterans, and now they have a hot young goalie with Jonas Hiller.  Thank goodness Coach Carlyle decided to start Hiller in the playoffs instead of Giggy. I am definitely betting the Ducks for the Series again, just like I did against the Sharks (who continue to choke in the playoffs).
Good luck and have fun watching the Conference Semi-Finals! Let the games begin!!

 totally agree. chicago and anaheim are some skilled & talented teams. I think they have natural goal scorers..

Let's face it, I really doubt all three fav win on thrusday and friday.

Probably not. And there's nothing wrong with that. Why wouldn't you guys back your teams?

Several people have bashed clepto for being a homer, but why? He's excited about his team and rightfully so. If I were in BC, you wouldn't catch me going against the Canucks either. If I were in Michigan, you wouldn't catch me going against the Wings either. If I were in....well you get the picture.

That said...Canucks in 5 or 6 over the young and inexperienced Hawks.

I love the Hawks to be up at the end of the 1st period tomorrow - later tonight!!!!
 
The rest will be a benefit for the 'Nucks - but you can't just turn it back on.  I think this will be a good series, but does anyone really think this break won't hurt Luongo?  He was on a roll - and the week or so off will take some time to get back into the game of it ...

Pfff...Blackhawks - Only thing black about them is Dustin Byfuglien

Will go at least 6 for sure with home ice being a HUGE advantage.  Love the Nucks in the series but will be betting with the money on the Hawks to win game 1 due to the time off for Van. 

Hope I lose my bet

Blackhawks are the better deeper team. I think they win in 6
 
If the Blues had any kind of offense they beat the Canucks a game or 2.

the argument that the hawks should have home ice because they have more points is moronic. They made divisions for a reason. How could you have divisions and then have one division leader not make playoffs because they are 9th in points? That's why division leader gets the auto slot. Nucks take this series........Luongo is the only reason why though.

Less then 15 hours till the Puck Drops. Won't give my opinions cause they are completely bias towards the Canucks... Will be in the building for game 5 though so I'm hoping for Canucks in 5. Should be a good series...
