vancouver gets lucky matching up against the weakest team in the west again
 
hawks wont be taken down so easily imo and have a great shot at beating luongo's team
 
they got the finish and the grit

We kicked their ass 4-0 in a game that was for home ice in the playoffs.

Would love nothing more than to see a sweep myself clepto! Luongo will not get out played in the series by any of the Hawk goalies.

The 4-0 game was in Chicago. Pyatt, Sundin, and Salo all available for the start of round 2. If the hawks think they are going to see a repeat of Calgary's swiss cheese defense, they have another thing coming.

a team with less points gets home ice advantage...thats just great
 
grandpa sundin is more of a liability anyways..everytime he is on the ice i think cbc is showing a replay in slow motion

u win homer of the year award clepto by far.  not sure if i have ever seen u against ur nucks all year. LOL
 
hawks better record, more points, scored more goals and gave up less goals but canucks get home ice?? LOL  Love how they give it to division elader voer better record.  no way hawks would get home ice  being same division as my wings. lol
 
seasons eries spil 2-2 wth eahc team 1-1 on eahc others home ice.

Whoa, you're jumping the gun a lil' w/ this thread.  Rest assured, however, the Hawks are for real.   VAN signed its' own death-warrant, w/ that end-of-the-season fiasco in Chi-town.

Alas . . . the will be no cup for Canada . . . yet again.

clepto underestimating the nucks opponents again... you can't get a sweep or a win in 5 in every series so to give grandpa sundin a 2 week rest to be ready for the next round. I will give it to you that the nucks D is better than Calgary, but Chicago has way more offensive depth than the Blues had and more than the Nucks do have. Bulin Wall is up and he should match Luongo save for save. The only reason the Nucks swept in Round 1 is because Luongo stood on his head a couple of games. This series goes 6 or 7 and I like Chicago to advance unless 1 of 2 things happen. Those are Bulin Wall cracks and he starts letting in a lot of goals, or Luongo plays even better than in round one and gives up next to nothing.

The haks caugth a break playing an injury riddled Flames team. Vancouver's rest period will help,,,not sure for game one,
When this series gets going the Canucks will step up to the plate a deliver!

Like the Canucks. But, Chicago will be tough at home and I can see them stealing Game 1 in Vancouver with the 'nucks coming off a long layoff.

Not much more to add Johnnypicks the Hawks caught the Flames with there top 3 dee out in Phaneuf, Regehr, and Giordano all out yeah Dion played, but he was a non factor with his injury he didn't throw one single open ice hit in the series! The Canucks dee is healthy and they will pound Kane, Toews, Versteeg and even Byfuglien the guy Macguire on TSN just won't shut up about. The Hawks only chance is scoring on every powerplay because 5 on 5 the Canucks will be the better team. The Hawks have to score on Roberto not Kipper and being a Flames fan Kipper was just terrible in the series he looked lost in the nets. You will not see that from Luongo the best golaie in the NHL Playoffs hands down. The Canucks might be slow out of the gate but once they get going the Hawks can't out skate this team or out hit the Canucks i see a five game series win for the Canucks. GO CANUCKS GO!

Careful what you wish for remember 2003, 2007 ANA  won both of those series. Anyway no way anybody is taking down my Bruins so it won't matter.

Christ! Imagine if the Bs actually win the cup. What city has all four sports teams win championships within 5 years of each other! That city will never be allowed to complain again!
