You can use the tied for most ave, but thats because of 1 game really. Now, did they get 2 hot goalies in a row? Yes. But that is still just 3 goals in reg, 2 games in a row.
However, there was a couple of times, MIller was out of position, and Team Canada didn't make it count. 1) was when Miller was flat on his face and jerome couldn't get it high enough over him. 2) was when they had him moving side to side and a guy just tried passing it instead of firing it on net to at least hope for a rebound.
Last- How about the sloppy play and all the time in the Box? Yeah, they killed of most, but a very important goal was given on 1 of them. You can't leave your PK team out there for 1/4 of a period and expect to win. maybe some were bad calls, but others were just obvious.

Well said, it is 1 game the road is longer now but still can be done. Everyone just needs to step back off the ledge.
It's not that easy folks to put together a group of elite players like that and have the chemistry work right out of the gate. The Fins, Swedes, and probably even the US know how they need to play to win. Backes knows what his roll is. Fins know they have limited offense so they play a solid defensive game.
When you can move someone from the 4th line to the 1st and vice versa, how in the world are you going to come up with effective combinations out of the chute....and you only have 3 games. Other teams have their line roles much more defined. Sure, they all tinker. But Canada has been all over the place...almost like they have all these interchangeable parts with too many possible places to put them.
Not to mention their butts have been puckering since the start of the games because of the pressure.
