and weeble i follow your picks every day. i understand your side but i gotta disagree with ya on this one. as long as it's not racist or vulgar it should be fair game. come on me and the guys at work give each other a hard time on monday mornings throughout the season. if you can't handle what someone on a computer screen says you've got serious problems.

Why would you call him a "kid"? Are you assuming he is some sort of youngster? By looking at his profile it is clear that he is in the 36-40 age bracket... Weebs - This "Rockstar" should at least be boxed for making such assumptions and offending JimAb1971.

Read all of my posts in this thread an you'll find that I never said I'd box people for minor issues. In fact...you'll find that my posts were aimed at the racist and vulgar of which you speak.

and personally just so you know. i live in the good old united states and yes i'm rooting for them to win. and in 2 weeks i will go back to rooting just as hard for crosby and malkin (canadians and russians) for the penguins who i've followed since 1981. talk about suffering and putting up with jokes till lemieux and jagr ( a czech) came along.

i guess what i'm saying is that in 2 weeks i don't think any true hockey fan will care what country a player is from as long as we have a chance to hoist the cup.

Everyone needs to stop making a mockery of this thread. As any veteran member of the pucks forum can attest to, I'm as easy-going of a guy as they come. But now some people are getting on my nerves when only but good-intentions were meant by this thread.

The point was to give everyone fair warning that I (and all of the other mods) will not stand for derogatory terms directed at another member just because they are from a specific country. Feel free to say a team sucks but you're dancing a fine line when you claim that all Americans are retarded or all Canadians are f****ts.
