Glad to see you back....Sorry for the big loss. My looses didnt come close to yours. Takes a class act to even come back and post. Most people would be so upset with losing that kind of cash that they could care less about the people they bashed before the game. My hat goes off to you. Good luck the rest of the year.

I also loved the Patriots, became a member of the $5K club last weekend, was in Vegas, a huge Giant fan gave me nickel each on the Giant spread & moneyline. I was getting killed in Vegas so I took a shot and held it because I didn't believe in a million years the Patriots would go 18-0 and lose this game. There went $3325, gave it to him on Thursday, I felt like throwing-up.
I haven't read anything similar to my opinion of this game which follows.
Did it not look like they were told they couldn't go 19-0. I don't know if something more is going to come out regarding this bullshit spygate thing or what. But explain to me how a team that averages 37 pts a game makes 14 in perfect conditions. They played with no passion, when was the last time they had a 2nd & 2 and didn't make the first down? Why is 4th & 13 better than a 48 yd FG attempt? I know the NYG defensive line is good but the Patriots are sending 3 offensive lineman to the Pro Bowl. The Giants were in the backfield the entire game. I need to make sense of this, I watched the first half again and am going to watch the second half as well. I still can't believe what I'm watching. A fucking red sweatshirt instead of the gray hoodie. I had so many omens that I ignored including: I stayed at Planet Hollywood, Lawrence Taylor was signing autographs from 12:00-1:30, I got a picture with him, the greatest Giant of all-time is at my hotel and I still refused to believe for a second the Giants could win this game.

I too lost big on SuperBowl. I follow u but I also like the NE. My main reason to pick NE was that NE was more dominate offense team and did not cover whole season spread wise. U picking NE was boost to my confidence but like everyone here say oh well, fuck I lost. Well good luck on next season and hope that we win next year.

It takes a lot of man for a guy to get up here and apologize (considering how many idiots are here anyways ) and own up as you have. It shows people on the forum that you care ...and you want them to win. Which is good because thats what a consensus forum should be about....to help others win...not to showboat or say i told you so...or claim to be a wannabe professional capper...its about people helping people make money.
That being said.....knowing full well the line was too big.....you actually bator helped sell me on the UNDER 55. The majority of my plays were parlays and under plays. I played couple of pats parlays down with teasers.....couple of parlays with giants 17+ and under....took props on GIANTS UNDER 21.5 TT and played the unders in quarters also....UNDER 10.5 1 Q/ UNDER 17 2ND ETC ETC.
Still managed the game up ....very little BUT up. I agree though as much as you love the game bator and as much as i know its the big "dance" sometimes it just pays to stay man. Go to a wicked bar or something and watch the big game....why spend thousands watching a bunch of over confident under achievers who didnt show up for the biggest game of the season ? (ie PATS)

The play is effectively dead at that point. And the ball was entirely viewable by everyone watching at home.

i know you feel bad about steering people the wrong way. i was one of them. i had g-men already locked down when i read the thread "Questions for Bator". but do not feel bad for me, for i feel the fool for switching and not trusting my gut. i try to learn from my experiences and this is no different. i even talked about it with a guy at work "this guys' got 100K on it" i say. he held pat and i owed him $5 for the bet we made. i clearly lost more than that, but it was one hell of a game and will be remembered forever as "The Pass." i am sure when there is a wrinkle in the next line, Mr Bator will let us all know. good luck
