This is nonsense.
By your argument, the line should be BAL -9 against HOU ... no way... I just don't see it. My guess would be BAL - 5.5 or -6.

Week 1 HOU @ BAL closing line was 9.5. Espn power rankings (I know there are many different rankings out there, just using that as an example) going into week 1 had HOU ranked 31 and BAL 8. Their most recent rankings (headed into week 18) had HOU 11 and BAL 1.
Just based off of that,it seems highly unlikely we would see the exact same spread as week 1 or higher. My gut says 6.5. But could absolutely see 7.5 opener with hooks getting gobbled and we settle at 7 by kickoff. This is all assuming Steelers don’t pull off an epic shocker??. Always good to see Van and his picks! On the other side w/ GB @ DAL today. Enjoy the games everyone!

I had Augsburg and Newcastle also.
Those were brutal. At least the Dolphins didnt do that.

Agreed. I expected the weather to affect the passing game, but Miami's running game was atrocious. They looked timid from the get go. Not impressed by their play selection, or Tua. Mahomes looked like the old Mahomes before defenses began to adjust to his style. Field/weather conditions no doubt dictated that. I thought Mahomes was the clear difference in the game, coupled with the Dolphin's completely flat performance. The weather got in their heads.
People rarely do that which is not expected of them.

Hey VZ, care to expand a bit on your Rams selection? Curious to see your thoughts. I think Detroit is being overlooked in this spot at home. Stafford and that offense have been rolling over the last 6-8 weeks, but still believe Detroit is the better club collectively. The Stafford/Goff trade coming full circle. Will be very interesting. Thanks man!
