I am 100% willing to admit when I am wrong, but this superbowl did not change Peyton's place in history one bit.
So like I said, nothing has changed and you still are an idiot. Thanks for chiming in.

To say that it hasn't changed Peyton's place in history one bit is completely wrong. He'll still go to the HOF, but he will always be known as the QB that blew it that game. That changes a legacy. There are many great QB's that aren't stigmatized with that label. But he is. And what if he does it again? Let's say he goes to just one more Super Bowl and he doesn't play well in that one as well. And he loses again. See my point? He can't screw up again, or it will truly taint his legacy.
As for comparing Ben to Manning, I just think you're wrong. And you wont change your mind, I know that. But how money was Ben in SB XLIII? And how NOT MONEY was Peyton in SB XLIV?
Have you seen how Peyton gives up and falls to the ground when he gets pressured? Seriously. Put everything else aside. Forget whether or not Ben is in the same league or not. I'm not even discussing that now with this point. Have you seen him do this? Because I have. There are other QB's in the league that would NEVER do this. And Ben specializes in evading the rush and making a big play. My point is that Manning does has shortcomings. And another one is performing in the postseason.
Manning passes for a lot of yards and gets lots of accolades. And he should. But he also throws a lot in the system he's in. Don't let that get you thinking that he's in a different league. Because he's not. If anything, you should have learned that from this past Super Bowl.
And after both of their careers are over, there's actually a good chance that Ben will have just as impressive numbers. Sure Peyton may have more passing yards and TD's (you get that when you average 34 attempts per game over 12 seasons), but the other numbers will be a different story. Passer rating, completion percentage, yards per attempt, yards per completion, interception percentage, TD percentage, regular season wins, postseason wins... these are all things you have to consider. And right now Ben is right up there in these catagories with PM. And he's only 27. He's gonna have many, many more great years. And I think to say that it's pure nonsense to consider Ben being anywhere in the same league is pure nonsense in and of itself.
But this thread isn't about Ben, or where he stands. It's about Peyton, and how he has nearly been a constant failure in the postseason. And how he hasn't ever been a great quarterback under pressure.
You're welcome by the way. And I want to thank you. Because reading your posts makes me realize that I simply know more than you.
