Hey AMD...how does the rain play into your pick tomorrow night. A good way to move the ball on GB is to run..tomorrows forecast is calling for rain that will be heavy at times. Asiata and McKinnon(a lil banged up) could cause some trouble for G.B...I believe that is why we are seeing the line drop. However just the thought of Ponder possibly playing scares the daylights out of me if I were to pick GB.

Does the rain effect your angle at all?
meant to say if ponder plays it would scare me to consider Minny.

It's a combination of Teddy being more probable and sharp money bringing the line down. I have absolutely no problem with being square in this matchup. A rookie rb and qb in primetime at Lambeau against a Packers offense who should shred a zone, 2 deep safety coverage. Randall Cobb with have a huge night in the slot going across the middle.

I don't care how good Minnesota looked against Atlanta at home last week. That game was played last week. This week, Green Bay had an entire week to prepare for Bridgewater. They are going to disguise and blitz like a motherfukker. Pressure and weather will make the Vikings turn the ball over tonight. I hope it fukking pours tonight.

What do you attribute the high lines to this week? Teams that pulled upsets last week (aka the Bucs and Vikes) are huge dogs. Do you stay away from these type of games? Just seems like the Saints are sucking right now and the bucs +11.5 is a steal.
Lines are starting to be adjusted by oddsmakers, first week where lines are actually sharp. If you're going to take a favorite, you're going to have to think twice about doing so. I don't see any gimmees this week. We are going to have to study to find the edge in these lines. I looked at the Tampa game that you mentioned and they'res not a friggin thing that I like about Tampa and the points. As much as I've been down on the Saints this season, I'm probably going to add them this week.

curious to hear your thoughts on the Pats, I disagree and do not think they have the personnel to bounce back like in years past.

I appreciate your posts, buddy. I can understand the logic behind playing the Bengals this week but I still like New England's defense. They just happened to run into a buzz saw regarding the Chiefs perfect gameplan. We don't ever see Belicheck get out coached so when we do, it's hard to find answers. The Chiefs have the speed in the backfield to be successful with misdirection plays especially when they are efficient in the passing game. Cinci, however has a completely different style than the Chiefs, a style that the Patriots defense matches up well with. Cinci doesn't have a lot of misdirection as their rushing and passing attack are north and south. New England's defense plays well when the play comes to them as was the case against Miami, Minnesota and Oakland. All three of those offenses run downhill as Cincinnati does. I'll finish my thoughts regarding this game along with some stats in a moment.

Like your thoughts on the line movement and break down on GB vs. MIN.
Rain would concern me if I was backing the packers because the game will likely turn into a running game which gives the edge to the Vikings IMO (but my posting record is 2-5, so what do I know).
Good luck my man, you're a great source of info and insight regardless how this week pans out for you. Agreed 100% on SF, going to absolutely smash this week.

Thanks for the post buddy. I disagree with the weather dictating Green Bay's gameplan. They have always thrown the ball in wind, rain, sleet and snow. Rodgers is used to it and it is actually an advantage to the offense to chuck the ball around in slippery conditions when the defense has no fukking clue as to where the ball is going. I hope it downpours. And, if Ponder starts tonught, I'll be adding more to the spread.
