I've been tailing your NFL this year Amd. Can you give me your angle on why you like San Fran -6 over K.C.? I was thinking now that Jamaal Charles and other players coming back for K.C. that they will be much better....

Hell of a run your on bud, keep up the good work. Curious to see what you think about Carolina this week at home. Im thinkin the bears defense might be just what they need to get back on track.

AMD What % of your bankroll are you betting per unit?
It varies, I don't have a formula. I'm only posting units because, for whatever reason, I've been asked to do so by several posters. I post units in college football and hockey and it hasn't been a problem but as soon as it becomes a problem, I'll stop. I just want to focus on talking football. Units are relative to what we can afford and I'm not a conventional gambler.

I look forward to breaking down the Niners game. I'll create a little dialogue on Wednesday, thanks for the post and good luck this week.

I've been going back and forth with this game and I agree with you. It's not a game that I'm in love with, but I'm leaning toward taking Carolina early on.

No worries, I'm not a conventional gambler myself but I'm trying to stray away from an out and out ruthless style into something a little more conventional yet aggressive. Pretty much everything I read says bet 1-3% of your bankroll but my stakes are not high enough for that to be greatly profitable . Would you have any advice how to break a $500 roll down? Last non football post, thanks

The niners are due for a clean game and a blowout, i still think they have one of the best defenses in the nfl, and they definitely still have one of the best o lines. Kapernick scares the crap out of me, he can be amazing and then make horrendous decisions , but i like sf also.

Honestly, buddy, I'm not the guy to speak with regarding gambling philosophy and bankroll management. I play between 3-10 units a game. I've heard of the 3% wager but I'm nor close to that. On average, I'm probably around 6%. Vanzack should be able to help you, send him a pm. Good luck on the game.

I don't post much but good luck this week amd, hope you keep it up! It's been a great run so far. Loving SF so far.
Have you ever thought about doing the supercontest? There are a few of us on this board doing it.
Thanks for your post. I've seen the threads but I haven't checked it out. Between studying games, fantasy football/hockey, family, work, etc., I haven't really considered anything else. Have a great week, gl

Its not a game I loved at first glance either but the more I look into it the more I feel like Carolina is the right side. They are obviously struggling to move ball on the ground and i think that is part of the reason why the defense has been struggling. When you are a team that thrives off of good defense, ball control, and playing good field position, you need to be able to to move the ball on the ground with some type of success and they just haven't been able to do that. Even though they beat Detroit they still only rushed for like 60 yards. But there last 3 games came against two top 10 rush D's in Baltimore and Detroit and against Pitt who isn't far behind. But now they get Chicago All juicy and waiting to be taken advantage of. This is a defense they should be able to sustain drives against and score some points on. I know Carolina doesnt have many great offensive weapons but you don't need great players at the skill positions to be able to beat this team. Their defense should get more rest this sunday and I really think they will feed off of the offensive production and look more like the defense we had come to know. Best of luck with whatver you decide
