Great read and I think you are spot on. The only thing worse than the Eagles choking in the Playoffs is the Vikes history doing the same thing through my childhood they just seem to turn into a crap team. I hope they can bring their A game today and finally bring home that NFC championship to the long waiting Vikings fans I know I will be pulling for them to do just that. Good luck today...!!!

wow, usually you have well thought out points but on several I shake my head...is Kennum much better than Foles? I'm sure Kennum has several weaknesses and showed poor judgement throwing the pick last week that opened the door and almost ended their season...
Now he's on the road...where your role players play worse and Philly's play better and a much better QB in Ryan failed last week against the #1 Rush Defense..
Minny's defense on the road gave up 30 to Washington and 31 to the Panthers..and they laid down last week on that 70 yard drive to the Saints that should have cost them the game and I don't think Zendajo makes a difference there
Then you have a disrespected team again being dogs and believe me they read and here this
Finally, the history you site? Have you forgotten how bad the Vikings history is in making the Super Bowl?

Mild wind forecasted today...that is a big help for Foles.
This game will be decided on the ground, as neither QB can carry the load. Favors the home team...
Also, Petersen is no dummy.....the Eagles will be a run-first team. The stats are pretty much a wash, I throw them out.....but, home teams typically have a physical advantage playing run D.

And, the Vikings are one of the biggest playoff chokers in NFL history. Last week was a gift, today won't be. Don't overlook the fact that the Eagles laid an egg and knocked off the defending NFC champs. It will not shock me if Philly wins going away.
FWIW, my money is on the Eagles +ML. Best of Luck.

Learn how to read and comprehend. Might be better than watching 3 minutes of Kurt Warner explain why he wore gloves and then betting Pats -7.5 afterwards.

Thanks guys. I’d address you all but I want to add to the cap and say the following:
To all the guys addressing the Vikes failures...
I was front and center watching the Eagles fail year after year after year after year under Andy with EXCELLENT teams, much like Tomlin has in the Steelers and he’s playing a similar fiddle here as he should have more rings. But at least he got one. The Eagles have none in all their recent history of otherwise.
And yes the Vikes have lost 4 SB but at least they got there but that is neither here nor there. Nor is 1980 or 2004.
What does matter is the collective consciousness of the city and the fans and that cosciousness is that this team does not get the job done in the playoffs. And that consciousness gets subsumed by the players and always has.
I know it. I feel it. I’m here. All the Eagles fans feel it. ASK THEM YOURSELF. There is no such thing as a confident Eagles fan in ththe playoffs.
Now is is that scientific? Is that metric-based? No. I didn’t base an entire cap off that. It is just icing on the cake to a cap or perhaps wet walnuts on top of a hot fudge sundae...Emeril Igasse’s BAM!!! of powered sugar on a lava cake. Nothing more. It has to be said and means something psychologically.
Now, I am ten miles outside of Philly and I want to give you a weather and apparel update.
The sun is out. The wind is NOT BLOWING. It feels like a brisk fall day.
Apparel update: I have downgraded from a thermal shirt to a plain short shirt sleeved shirt and I feel quite comfortable. As do the people in this Dunkin Donuts who have Eagles shirts on (I feel for them. I really do).
Why am I saying this? All this beautiful weather is a godsend for the Vikes! They should be like Bear Grylls in Antarctica huddled in a cave drinking their own urine but are ready to shoot a scene for Baywatch instead!
It would have been the ice bowl two weeks ago as it was -5 degrees and now I want to happily walk my labradoodle in this weather, iPhone in hand putting even MORE on the Vikes!
The gambling gods have really blessed the Vikes backers with this Palm Tree swaying weather for a January day! Good luck!

Swoop, the point WASN'T that Eagles fans read the Ledger (because who cares what the FANS read), the point was the article was HANDED to Keenum HIMSELF (and as long as the paper is not The Onion, the psychological impact is all the same).

Garbage- that is a conversation id love to have. But I just can’t have it here.
Ice Under - I appreciate it. I put a lot into this one. And after I put that in I don’t plan on losing.
Vern - I just finished my multigrain bagel (no butter or cream cheese, yes I am that disciplined) and the wind is a little stronger here. Perhaps it will grow a bit. Bad for Foles.
