I believe any f/ball high profile player that w/h gotten caught @ this act w/b in DEEP doo-doo as to having the PUBLICS eye on this & HAVE to ansewer to the charges. Just as if any low profile person w/h to also ansewer to the charges>with probably a lesser sentence than a high-profil person. System always works at setting a precedant to show people cannot & s/n get away with things.

Don't forget, trial in Virginia is pending.  State charges carry longer sentences.

a guy up here did the same thing, maybe even more brutal with over 100 dogs a year ago and got a 10,000 dollar fineand community service.

if this was joe nobody like the prior case, nobody would care. since it's michael vick, we are huge animal people now, oh my god how can you do that mike vick, even though joe nobody did it and nodoby cared.

no wonder the rest of the world thinks were idiots

I agree.  It's all about the celebrity status and the average Joe who likes to knock him back down to Earth.  I think we don't like seeing someone better off than the rest of us so it's a whole lot easier to go harder on him for F'n up.

it's also about pretending to care when you really don't. mike vick does it so all of a sudden your a huge animal love, i hate mike vick type. joe nobody starves over 100 horses and dogs at ranch, nobody cares and the 10k fine and community service reflects that.

my thing is why pretend to care now that mike vick did it when you didn't care when joe nobody killed over 100 dogs and horses.

I don't think there is anybody in this forum who wouldn't care about horses being starved or killed its all pathetic, this is a sports forum and Vick is a sports (whatever) if there was a forum to write about anybody who would do anything to helpless animals i'm sure we would all write about it.  Like i said its all pathetic.

HE doesn't deserve 23 months in jail as far as I am concered.
Far more worse things going on in this world to be more concerned about. You got people killing people not going to jail sometimes.
Obviously he was more involved then he said he was.

I guess chickens are lower than dogs so the higher up the food chain, the greater the punishment.  I told Michael he should fight
chickens instead because he can fry and eat them afterwards, but nope, he didn't listen to me.  I also told him not to pick up the soap in the prison shower.

Exactly correct. I said that in another post som "F"in where.hehe. They c/h gave him community service or somthing. The spac is KILLING dogs weekly across the COUNTRY.WHO "F'in cares. Not too many if they're STILL doing it every week. The whole thing was blown-up because he has cash & they ALL want it.

oh look another genius post defending the guy.  I love the people who think because there is other worse crimes happening, that guys like vick should just be let go  Abusing animals is the gateway to abusing people, that my friend is a fact.  Almost all serial killers abused animals before branching out to people.

Vick got a slap on the wrist compared to what the little dickhead should have gotton.   If society started slapping some real punishements on crimes like this, then just maybe we would start seeing this less.

Personally i hope as a haert attack and dies in jail.
