tony romo is my new fav qb period!!!

i bet on the Lions so don't think i am just being bitter here .  why and how did Romo ever get any type of love from the media and NFL pundits.

what has he ever done in his career?  someone tell me why he is not considered an average or even bottom tier qb?  i never have understood the all Romo love throughou is career

everything you said is true , however, why does he get all the positive love his whole career?  because he is in a big market and plays for America's team ?  i would think his poor play and poor decisions would give him more negative press over anything good he has ever done which is not much IMHO

Thats why this year is THE YEAR...have you not paid attention to unbelievable media coverage of him and the Cowboys so far this season. His poor play and poor decisions have been scrutinized to no ends so far this year. Hell the media even proclaimed a WEEK 2 game as a "do or die" game for the Cowboys.Have you not noticed it? Hell after that win the Cowboy media had to serve up a story of him having a collapsed AND punctured lung right before there big rivalry game against the Skins.

He was in a win win situation before the game even started just in case they actually lost the game. He either wins the game and is a remarkable tough hero or he loses and he "wins" because he played with sever injuries. Last year he lucked out by having a season ending injury (that defense was garbage anyway) and now it makes this year EXTREMELY important for his job security and legacy. I dont see this team making the playoffs...they are too many better teams than them.

Falcons, Saints, Packers, Lions, Bucs, Redskins...and even the Giants. I would take the bobblehead Manning before I took Romo
