rodgers is good (maybe great)... explain the rest of the offense to me and why theyre so superior... other than the fact that they played detroit twice and an awful minnesota twice?

also include buffalo, miami, dallas (when they were down) san francisco, and the giants.

They put up 9 points against your jets early in the year when the weather wasnt freezing cold... please excuse me if im not shaking in my boots over here...

GamblingProblem    First of all thanks for sticking to the Super Bowl.  I see the Packers defense going up against a beatup and injured offensive line. The Packers pass defense is good enough to shut down a below average passing game. The Pittsburgh running game is innept at best and again is hampered even more by that offensive line. Pittsburgh does not have the capabilities to catch up when The Packers sprint to the lead.

Shut down corners, no running game = Big Ben is toast

but lets talk about all of that nonsense... the steelers had a hurt mix and match o line all year and managed to be the 2 seed in the afc. i guess the running game would be innept except for they ran for 150 last week and mendenhall ran for 1300 yards this year. while it might not be the top of the league, he certainly had more yards than alllll of the packers running backs combined.  mendenhall was 7th in the league in rushing and if you were to attempt to search for a green bay running back you would have to go allll the way to 33 to find branden jackson. so lets talk facts here LRM, please.

As to capabilities to catch up, how do you describe coming back from 14 points down against the ravens at halftime? that would be a comeback against a very solid top 10 defensive unit. If roethlisberger would have played in the first 4 games, he only would have had to average 200 ypg to get to 4000 yards for the season. if that is a below average passing attack then i guess our standards are much different.

i guess ben had a brady-like offensive line for his first 2 super bowls, right? hmm no he didnt. he hasnt had a good offensive line in his 7 years as a pro. So this is nothing new to him or the team.

 Joe Sacco didn't exactly have a passing attack.

Here is where I get my ass kicked but JOE FLACCO IS WAY OVERRATED.

Forget the season stats regarding Mendenhall as the roster changed when the injuries mounted.

he lost 2 starting tackles and a starting guard in the preseason... so i guess if youre talking about pouncy last game, then he would only have 1299.

flacco is overrated for playoff purposes... you certainly wont get an argument from me about that. but the ravens have better WRs then the packers... 3 pro bowlers on one team on the ravens. thats strong. and they shut them down this year. obviously rodgers is better than flacco. but dont count out the steelers pass defense, if for no other reason, because of lebeau.

and just remember... there is a reason why rodgers ran for 350 yards this year.. because obviously his receivers werent open. Theres a reason why he had 2 concussions this year... because his oline isnt that great either. and trust me if harrison or any of the other ones gets a clean shot on him, matt flynn will look like a big steak in there to that defense.

As to the WR the Packers offencive coordinator spreads the ball around(fewer catches for everyone) & Driver played injured most of the year.It's better than Pittsburgh's group & among the very best in the league. 

both of those statements are most certainly a matter of opinion. but remember the steelers have the fastest man on the field (fact)... so they too can go verticle at anytime.
