Read the Championship threads. I don't hate Pittsburgh at all.  I think they have a great organization.

Stick to the teams that are gonna suit up Sunday.

Pittsburgh is not better than 3 other teams in the AFC.

Unreal the lack of knowledge by some people.. Ever hear of Ike Taylor (cb) for Pitt... Show me ONE list of all the lists out there rating CB's.. Taylor will be in the top ten of all them.. If you do find ONE that does not have him on the top ten you should be happy because that means there is a least one other guy in the world less knowlegeable then you on cornerback play and football in general.. Dude please stop your making a fool out of yourself.. Lets recap Rainman.. You say their secondary sucks... You say their WR's are not that good.. You say their o-line is weak ( even a broken clock is right twice a day).. Mendenhall is average... Now Ben is not that good..Not much left.. Yea your breakdown (organization ) And yet pretty much part and parcell these are the players that have been to the SB THREE TIMES IN THE LAST SIX YEARS.. The Steelers won their division, the Jets and the Ravens did not.

The Steelers knocked the Jets & Ravens out of the Playoffs.

The Steelers are in the SuperBowl, New England is not.

He got lucky that Boldin DROPPED the TD PASS in the End Zone! He is no Revis! That's FOR SURE! He only gave up 2 TD'S because the rest of Pitts Secondary is SUSPECT! Why throw at him when you can throw at GAY and McFADDEN and linebackers that will have to do some covering in this game? Ike Taylor isn't A TOP 3 DB in this game! They finished 12th in total yardage allowed.1st in YPP means they tackle well not that they are good vs the pass.

the fact that Ben makes it this far with that offensive line shows how good he is... if brady, manning, rivers (all the qbs that i assume you think are better) played with that offensive line, they would get killed. literally die. I agree that he is not the pocket passer that the casual fan has to watch to consider a person an "elite" quarterback, but if you know anything about football, stats are not the only thing that make a QB a good player!

making great, game changing plays at the biggest moments in the biggest games. To me that defines greatness. Never having a stage too big, always playing the best football at the most opportune moments. Legging out first downs when no one is open, diving head first to ensure you make the line of gain. It may not fit YOUR definition of what great is, but that is great nonetheless.

And just because he has a great defense doesnt take anything away from what he has done. Did steve young not have a great defense with him when he won? did joe montana not have one? how about troy aikman? or terry bradshaw for that matter? All great quarterbacks need a supporting cast to win. otherwise dan marino, one of the greatest qbs in the history of the game would have had his super bowl.

im not even saying that theyre gonna win.... both teams are good, really good and i think it will be a good game... but for goodness sakes, give the man the credit that he deserves...
