The Jets/Dolphins line is out of control as this point...time to pounce

So you are going to give me almost one and half times my original bet to back the Jets laying a field goal on the road to one of the most inferior teams in all football?

Why?

Because the Dolphins beat the Raiders last week? A Raiders team that had a 10:30 pm EST start the week prior on Monday Night football who then has to take an East Coast flight and play a 1 pm EST game that Sunday (10 am in reality for them)? It was the fortunate of scheduling situations for the Dolphins to not only get a terrible Raiders team, but a terrible one on short rest.

And who had the monster game against the Raiders to lead the Dolphins to victory? Reggie Bush who came back from the dead with 175 yards!! and two TD's and Dolphin backers will depend on him again? The Jets can stop the run and at a minimum, keep it in check. Don't judge the Jets on the garbage time yardage they gave up to the Bills which inflated their OPP YPG stats so far.

Sanchez knows he needs a big win with consistent production here to keep the Tebow media and fan acolytes from screaming for his head and job. Jets have San Fran, Houston, and New England coming up in their next 3 of 4 games. If there was one game you circled on the Jets schedule as a win at the beginning of the year, it was this one. And to lay 3 to get almost 1.5 times your bet it a no-brainer. The Jets have had 5 great quarters and 3 bad ones in the past 2 games. Now they get a bad team to dominate like the Bills.

In addition, the big thing no one is talking about is that this is Tony Sparano's return home. Obviously, outside of the starting QB, he knows this team inside out and will be able to tell the Jets about every leak in their offensive and defensive games. And the starting QB for the Dolphins doesn't scare me one bit. The Jets D will pressure him more than he can handle.

Don't overthink a game like this and follow the sharp money (if that is truly what is driving this line down and the ML up).

Revis, the cornerstone of the D will almost certainly be back to give the Jets a comfortable win.

the dolphins running system works for him, and unlike in New Orleans, in Miami he knows he is the #1 RB and that can take a lot of pressure off of someone... he can just go out and play and not worry about splitting time...

this is a no play for me but i think miami take the jets out... r u really going to rely on sanchez and that shit jets offense? they have no one to stretch the field and lack explosive plays...

Give me the list of teams, outside of the Browns, the Jets would be up to a 3 point road favorite against this week, and how far ahead the Dolphins are ahead of that inferior group... and then let's hear you laugh.

The jets would be road favs vs the jags, colts, rams, chiefs, and maybe the raiders.

Don't get me wrong the Jets should win this game, but to lay points on the road and justify it because Bovada is a joke and won't change line isn't wise.

Should be Jets -1. Both defenses will play well tomorrow. Fins will rely heavy on Bush, Jets on Sanchez. I like those chances.

Great, so you have your list of teams. And the Fins aren't among those inferior teams?

In addition, you listed the Raiders as one of the teams which is the same team Miami beat last week, a battle of lightweights.

When the heavyweights come to town, you will understand why you need more than 1 (or in my case 3) to justify taking the Dolphins. 

Jets are a .500 team at best but that's a hell of a lot better than what Miami has going for them.

You take Bush in the twilight of his career and I'll take Sanchez. And you forgot Revis and what will turn out to be one of the best defenses in the league as the Jets have consistently shown under Rex. 

Jets roll here. Schedule is too tough beyond this point to drop this game.
