Let me ask you is johnny unitas not the greatest QB of all-time the guy is the godfather of the QB position!!!!! Every QB wants too be like unitas.....
I would say that Tom Brady is fine being just like Tom Brady. A classy QB in this generation even in this conversation is giving the past QB's all the credit in the world for building the foundation of the NFL, making them more money, ect. ect...
But Unitas in his day was Tom Brady.... just not as good of a QB.

we got him sucks to be every other team in the nfl
Have you ever watched Joe Montana play? He could do things that Brady could only dream of. His backup Steve Young was better then Brady. Check Montana's Superbowl stats, you'll understand what I'm talking about. The man had no weakness as a QB, and was as tough as nails. This is by no means a knock against Brady, but when compared to Joe Montana, he's not in the same league my friend.

clearly you didn't read my post above it, i said montana 1 brady 2
montana 4 superbowls 3 mvps 15 seasons
QB Rating
92.3
8 pro bowls 15 seasons, 2 time mvp also had Jerry Rice, and the most dominant team of the 80's
brady 7 full seasons going to have 4 superbowls 2 superbowl mvps
i'm saying montana #1 but when its all said and done if brady has 5+ super bowls, the highest post-season winning percentage you can't say he isn't better. Give brady Rice in his prime and see how he would do

any QB that could fog up a mirror could have won with the '85 Bears. Same thing with Bradshaw, he was good, but very overrrated. With that defense, and The running game, any decent QB would have won like Bradshaw did.

This list is hilarious. You have a top 10 list without Marino and Brady. You may not like Brady but you gotta give the guy credit for 3 (soon to be 4) Superbowls in his short career. And Marino, the guys holds almost all QB records. Jim Mcmahon. hahaha...wow can you tell your a bears fan or what. hahaha

Ok let me answer these easy questions for you...
1) Lets start with marino first he has no records favre has broken them and favre has something that marino does'nt and that's a super bowl ring and i don't have favre in the top 10 so how can marino be in the top 10........
2) Cannot give brady any credit his first year as the full-time starting QB the patriots went too the super bowl the team was already there for him after bledsoe put in all the hard work brady gets the credit......
3) Look what some of the greats had to go thru to be great..peyton manning his first year the colts 3-13......troy aikman first year 1-15......terry bradshaw 4-10.......See these guys had to put in the work to get there team to the promise land and it was just handed to tom brady so there is no way i can give him credit or put him on the list of the 10 greatest QB's of all-time!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, he's back for more!!! We all no (so 34 can understand I mean know) Jim Mcmahon had to put in his time to be the 10th best QB of all time!!
I forgot that Bobby Layne implemented his own system to be the #8 QB, we all no that he had horrible personnel around him!!
Keep up the helpful insight Payton, the Covers community really values it!

first of all you are an ass
1. marino not in mcmahon in, enough said
2. this could get long
1. brady wasn't handed a team the patriots sucked before brady so if your going to write things down on an internet forum you should probably get your facts straight first take some notes the pats were 0-2 when brady steped in for bledsoe and he finished the season 14-3.
not handed a team the two years before he started the pats were 8-8, and 5-11 respectively and started off 0-2, 0and2 great team
bledsoe was terrible, no hard work put in
3. this will be his 4th super bowl in the last seven years i'm sure that he was handed all of that when the team lets most of their top guys go to other teams and holds no one sacred (milloy, law, mcginest, bledsoe, and probably moss after this season because he will want to much) and they keep bruschi, brown, faulk, vrabel, smaller name guys
Good luck with your sports there in illinois

Check the stats on Steve Young. He had no weakness as a QB, he could run, was deadly accurate and could scramble and throw on the run as good as anybody, with the possible exception of Montana. Also, these guys took a beating, unlike today where the QB's are pampered. I'm not knocking Tom Braby by any means, I don't want you to get that impression, we're just sharing opinions. i did watch montana i was 7 years old when i started liking football which was in 88, didn't know much about it but it was when the niners were out of everyones league like the pats are now. I used to play techmo bowl and always be the niners i loved taylor, montana, rice, craig, rathman. i was in high school when montana retired and i would watch every game i could and yes i said he is the greatest of all time to answer your question, i even have a joe montana vhs that i have watched about 30 times, but when its over brady will be 1

Let me tell you something else if my team went out and signed a pacman jones or a randy moss i probably would not be a fan anymore but someone like the patriots that have no morals don't have a problem with it or there fans atleast here in chicago when we found out about tank johnson we cut his ass because we don't want hoodlums, thugs, losers but the patriots showed what type of team they were!!!!!

You are such a loser, If your team signed Randy Moss you would have him as a top WR on your list...
As long as Randy helps bring another Championship--he's fine w/ me...

As much as I can't stand what an a--hole Moss is, and I certainly wouldn't lose sleep if he got hit by a bus, that being said, I would still want him on my team, even though he could potentially be a cancer in the locker room! The Pats took a shot with him, because his talent is undeniable, and it's paid off. Not everybody can be a choir boy like Brady or Seau!
