Ive been contemplating this Seattle game. At first I loved Seattle.............but looking closer at Tampas last 6 games.........
They played the Jets.....some say the best defense in the league......
They played Carolina in Carolina, dominated them but lost.......
At Atlanta, only lost by 3..........
New Orleans.......which had too much firepower.......
At Miami, only lost by 2.....was winning in the last minute
Green Bay, beat them by 10...........
Now combine this with the fact that Tampa hasn't score for shit the past 2 weeks, and the fact that the spread has been steady at 6.5...........Im not so sure anymore........I think Tampa Bay might show up to play a mediocre Seattle team.......
NFL is all about matchups

i think he is on to something. also the majority of covers as well as the public seems to be pounding the shithawks. if this is another sunday the public pounds the man then this has a shot of going in. i know the shithawks likes to dispose of bad teams, but i find it hard to believe vegas will give away free money two sundays in a row.

As always Whodey I am right with you on all your picks and the logic for them. Definitely think the Bengals step up their game, and that the Chargers are not only due for a loss, but the Bengals are due for a west coast win. And I think you are dead-on when you say that Henry was the best receiver on the team when he had his head in the game. He will be missed, and such a loss of undeveloped talent. I pray that his kids will be allright. Anyway, I'm right with you on the Steelers-think they smoke GB. I actually like Miami as more of a 5 unit play, and in total agreement with Seattle as the one to hammer. It's funny that every game you have down are all the games I was going to take. I hope we're both right! Happy Holidays my man and here's to the Bengals focusing on the task at hand!

I guess we'll see after the game is over then. By the way Haley, what is your reasoning behind San Diego being the correct pick? The fact that you're from California?

My reason are simple really. 1) SD is as hot as can be winning 8 str8 games 2) Cincy Organization just suffer a tragedy in Chris Henry death. 3) SD is just a better team.
BOL anyway don't want to see your hard earn money goes in

Tell me how these two undersized very short corners can matchup with SD's WR's. Joeseph is 5-11 and 185 and Hall is also 5-11 and 193. Their starting safeties are hurt.
The best passing team they have faced is the Texans which has one WR with the size of 3 of SD's recievers. The Texans QB threw 4 TD's for 392. The one tall WR that the Texans got caught 8 balls for 135 and long of 59.
Then they have issues with TE's and RB out of the backfield because part of there defensive scheme is that AFC North mantality about stuffing the running game. There LB's are first two down types with poor coverage skills and not enough speed to cover these type of recievers one on one.
If we put in 3 WR's with Gates and either Sproles or LT and empty the backfield, what is Cincy going to do. That will force them into going with 5 or 6 DB's and there goes there strength of there front 7 and any pass rush they might be able to have.
That Texans game was in Cincy and they lost 28-17.
Now they are going to travel west where the last time in Cali they lost to the Raiders, the frickin Raiders.

was looking to go in big on the pats tmw but see u leaning on the bills...can u break it down for me whodey
Its a small play, as matter of a fact I'm not even playing it. So do what you want with the game. The Pats haven't won on the road yet this season. Still 7 point favorites, I kind of like that trend.

your getting way into the game..you start losing when you know too much...the eagles also lost to the raiders in oakland and if i remember correctly the raiders should have beaten the chargers at the beginning of the year too..every week theres matchups of CB's that are 5'11" going against WR's that are 6'5"...if we take that theory than no team should win any week...go bengals
