STEELERS VS. PANTHERS for my super bowl pick, so their is some money to be made in my pool if it happens. I'd be happy if it happened but I'm smart enough to realize that if it did, id have to send Harrison and Polamalu most of that $$ because they are the reason for it...

These are all opinions. I dont know if you are familiar with the difference between fact and opinion but a fact can be PROVEN every time by statistics and information. While opinions are comments that cannot be proven. I agree that the defense is the number one reason for the teams success this year and i am certainly not arguing that. I am arguing all the people who claim that Byron leftwich is a better QB than Ben. Ben has proven himself by making a pro bowl, winning a super bowl, and leading the team to 4 4th quarter comebacks this year. (the defense did not carry the team down on those drives to win the game, mind you) so they are acting as a Unit to come up with wins. You seem to be mistaking my postion and making it into one in which you feel that you can win. And as i said this team is certainly nothing without the stellar defense. However, we have the stellar defense and therefore we will be successful in the post season. "Offense wins games but Defense wins championships." I think i trust Vince Lombardy a littttle bit more than i trust you.. sorry
 
And by the way... a good defense would carry a good offense. Look for instance at the Pats last year. If they had a good defense to go with that offense they would have won the superbowl. Or if you would like to consider this year... the Saints had a top 5 offense in the NFL this year. Where did that get them sir? theyre sitting at home right now .... so sorry to again disprove the haters but if you use facts, the truth will set you free!

2 the ofence is very good they have the balls for the last play to score and win the game 
3 they have experience to win the big game

Bassin...it's great to hear from fans like you see though the smoke and realize your team is a little if not very over rated.  I see this game the same way as you and love the points as well as the AFC $$ line parlay line..  AFC dogs & NFC favs looking pretty damn good

Probably right, BUT, you put a defense like that with QB's like Peyton Manning or Tom Brady and you have one of MOST DOMINANT TEAMS FOOTBALL has EVER seen! With Worthlessberger you get a team that still struggles at times (yet still wins) because the QB turns over the ball too much and takes too many sacks and his overall play is below average.
