I think you are going to the well a little too much on the bet the dog strategy. I certainly understand betting SD at +14.5, but +3.5 and ML are just a waste of money. A little irresponsible also considering so many people on this site follow you closely. Given their injuries, I don't think SD has a chance to win this game and there is a good chance they won't keep it close. Just me $.02. If I am wrong, I'll come back and apologize.

How can San Diego run the ball and keep the Patriots off of the field if they get down 14-0 right out of the gate?
The Patriots haven't gotten off to that kind of fast start against any respectable opponent since mid-November. I'm not worried about the Week 1-11 juggernaut reappearing today. That'll happen two weeks from now if they advance past this game.

Love the Giants, but think Chargers get blown out. Cold weather and too many injuries. If NE gets off early this thing gets ugly. San Diego needs some huge plays to keep this close. GL and as always you are the Man. Best Capper I have ever seen.

Why wait? I'll accept it now in the 1st quarter, it's cool. So I'm irresponsible for posting my opinions on San Diego +3.5 +400 and San Diego ML +720? SuckerBet77, try to understand something about me and the way I bet. To me, the eventual outcome of any game is much less importnat than the position I put myself in prior to the game. If I choose to gamble with San Diego +3.5 and San Diego on the moneyline, and I arm myself with incredible prices like +400 and +720, then I have done my job. Winning or losing those bets is not up to me, but finding them, and placing them, is.

Like Molsen said, Sacramento and Chicago were my two biggest winners, and I lost a big one on the Raptors and Sixers under 190 when they scored 14 points in the last 26 seconds. The game went over when Chris Bosh damn near slammed the ball into his own basket with 4 seconds left after Andre Miler had just missed two free throws. In college I won big with the two major upsets, USC over UCLA and Maryland over North Carolina, but later got screwed in overtime with Kentucky +8.5 over Florida.

and that is likely the biggest difference between someone like you (bator) and most of us hacks on this board (no disprespect meant to other posters here, as I am in that same group). Shopping for the absolute best lines, sound money management, and a long term perspective are things that most cappers like to talk about, but few actually do day after day, month after month, year after year....I know I need to get better in ALL of those aspects (I need to get much better...I am too much of a gut feeling player)....go Chargers!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Still, his brilliance hasn't been enough to cover these huge lines. So.......what if he's not brilliant today? What if he's just good? Or very good? That may not even be enough to win this game.

I took the Nets +11.5. The Suns have been TERRIBLE after winning and covering back-to-back games, and who's going to want New Jersey after they've dumped their last four games, including last night's depressing overtime beatdown against the lowly Clips? Me, that's who! The Suns should have their usual letdown after putting together consecutive covers and it'll be easy for them to overlook the reeling Nets.

Sportsbooks that are too chicken to offer moneylines on large spread games are missing out on major scores every time a big chalk goes down. That's cool, though, because if they don't have any balls then they don't deserve to make those scores.
