interestingky enough - today after yet another loss with them, side or totals as you rightfully pointed out - i asked myself the same question. you see, i have my weaknesses and demons too as any normal person and i fight them but this washington bs is getting me too. without betting their games i'd be in around 70%(!!!!!!) winning rate. you right and everyone else taking criticism on me picking them is right too. i most probably have a hard time believing that shanahan and the co can be so heartless with their fans to present next to nothing week after week and i am sure vegas too is going nuts about them losing a bunch on their ineptness.
reading back what i wrote - sounds like a mambo bs but nevertheless the way i feel about me picking washington games is exactly that mambo bs.

I realized today after taking Skins over 20,5 for the game that they have cost me more money betting on and against them over the years than any other NFL team. I refuse to bet on Raider games. If I bet on them they lose against them they cover. I am going to add Washington into that as well. BOL and Thanks for the other 2 winners today Phix

washington seems like a perfect garbage storm of owner's unchecked ambitions, coaching staff incompetence and injury (plus "sophomore slump") by the key player.
yet the team always gets plenty of coverage and attention.
"fix" or no fix, these conditions result in overpricing.

I wonder if anyone has blindly play the over on denver all year, with the amount you play you'd be up like 10, 11 G by now. You are so right about demons and individual complacency, I notice when I'm very scare of a pick like the over on denver, it turns out to be always right. I lost big from thursday till saturday, a couple of G's to my local bookie. I did manage to play fsu, fresno, s. ala, and rutgers and won some back. It was a crazy day on sunday 1'o'clock game with all the teams playing in the snow went over, exception to GB and Tampa. I hit to parlay 3 and a parlay 4. If Phili didn't score that last touchdown, i'd be up about 3 g plus or minuses. Luckily I realize the law of average and probability, I play under big on the NO games and reverse action with the home team thanks to the embarassment from Seattle last week. There's game you follow the heart and there's game you question the logic of that person you tailing. And there's game that you can put the house on but don't have the balls to do it. But in the end, if you want to win you have to have big balls and take some risks, knowing the amount of risk is the key to having good gambling logic. So what is your leans tonight, will the public get some back? will you lean under on this cold, snowy monday night? Law of average have to exist tonight I think.
