I agree that is the right way to go about it.

I'm just saying I had the opposite last night on both sides and I'm not bitter or anything, I just thought both the wagers (especially the Pats +3) should be considered CLOSE losses, thats all.

Jesus man. You were essentially dead on with everything you said on your prediction Even the score was nearly exactly bang on.

I was thinking about you man after that flag got called back. TNF, fishy spread, public team loses...

One thing that could be observed though was that Brady was mad as HELL so he definitely wasn't in on the phix... I do think you're right and that the Refs try to phix that shiyte though.

I apologize for harping on you man. You just struck a nerve with me saying that the whole NFL was rigged... But the more I think about it and obsess over it the more I think you're right on certain aspects of it.

    Nice wins man

You gotta point man... As the game played out I couldn't help but keep on thinking about your synopsis. It literally played out exactly as you said it would.

Then as I was watching Brady near the end, some of his throws were pretty damn brutal considering who we're talking about here... I was thinking to myself "you gotta be kidding me" after some of his throws.

Pretty much the same thing happened with RG3 on a Monday or Thursday game a couple weeks back, but you sorta expect it from him... Not Brady. You might be on to something here... And it's pretty damn depressing... This is America we're talking about though...Nothings what it seems with that country...  Anyways, if we can take this knowledge and rape the bookies then it's all good though anyways

As I recall the same sorta thing happened with a lot of NBA games that you bet on last year too.... Shifty things would happen near the end and you'd always end up covering by about a point or so.

interesting game in atlanta.  no orleans have already shown us they can easily lose even when expected to win easily. in ny against the jets. so, all the righteous bettors who say everything is pure and clean can leave this post now. thanks for attending.
now, no do not blow away the opponents away from home. atlanta already has been blown out by seattle at home. they arew 2-8 ats and no are 6-3-1 ats meaning the trend followers have easy decision here by picking no but i am not sure that will be the case here.
the league made sure from the beginning the saints will have a shorter time to rest and prepare for a game. if its so i believe the refs will act accordingly and unless the falcons will demonstarte unbelievable weakness - i dont see them losing by more than a td. i actually see some game time injuries preventing saints from winning it altogether but i will address that crazy notion from most of readers' point of view - later.

Almost everything with a line is fixed in every mainstream sport.  Don't care if you believe it or not but I'm afraid it's true.  The gov make trillion$ on this garbage so why bring it to light?  I've been betting on sports for over 20 years so I've seen garbage.  Actors act a good or bad game, lots of star injuries are fake, and yes they are all in it together.  Ever notice the players' reactions during post-game interviews?  They're all thinking " It's time to bullshit again"

    Nice work Phixer!

I agree, the league is not making it easier for the saints here with a road game only 4 days after their previous.  Expect lots of BS calls against the saints as well.

Phixer, I have been following this thread from the beginning and originally had a lot of respect for your picks.  Then you went on talking about fixed games and I lost all respect for you and you lost all credibility to me and I stopped following for awhile.

However, the fixed games notion has been in my head for weeks now culminating with Monday nights last play call.  After that, I did some real research into it this week and I have to say it is hard to ignore all the facts and am about 95% convinced of what you say.

Manning is this years superbowl darling and the Broncs having home field in the playoffs would go a long way in making that happen.  Que the call on Monday night to keep the Pats at bay while also giving a win and playoff hopes to one of the faces of the next generation of players.

I feel like this Sunday Night will make up my mind one way or the other.  If the NFL is fixed and also in bed with gambling interests then the Denver Broncos will win by 1 or 2 points this week giving them a stranglehold on homefield advantage while destroying what I assume will be an overwhelming majority of bets on Broncs -2.5 or -3.

If you believe what you preach then it would seem to reason that the Broncos ML would be close to a play of the decade.

It seems to this observer, that there are "fixes" where players are 100% involved in changing the outcome (which are rare but do happen) and there are "Phixes" where a variety of outside influences ( refs., schedule-makers, trainers, and a whole host of "fringe" personnel) do little or big things to try to SUBTLETY influence a game's outcome.  May not always work but there are definitely factors working against certain teams at certain times.
