SO to turn over roe v wade and say the lilly ledbetter act shouldnt be a law is totally disrespectful to all women in this country!!!!!!!!!!!

Women have been striving in the past 30 years. I actually read a couple articles on this and did a little interesting research. A woman that makes more money than me is hella sexy.

You have to understand that the majority of the "1%" don't earn regular incomes. By lowering their normal income tax bracket you really aren't effecting the super rich at all. The super rich earn the vast majority of their income through investments which are taxed at the capital gains rate.

Romney is considered a flip-flopper because the Republican Party is extremely divisive right now. During the primaries he had to preach more conservative rhetoric to get the Tea Party vote in order to fend of Santorum and Gingrich. Now that he is in the General Election he is preaching a more moderate message because he knows the Tea Party folks would never vote for Obama and he needs to pull moderates and independents away from Obama. Judging by his record, if elected I expect Romney to be a very moderate President. I think our future would be brighter with a moderate Romney in office rather than Obama.

There is very little chance lowering the tax rate on the rich will boost small business.  Most small businesses set themselves up in a way where the owner(s) are not liable for taxes.

They might setup an LLP, LLC, or one of a few other company classifications.  They do this not only for tax purposes, but also to inoculate themselves in case the business gets sued or takes part in questionable activities.  It is much harder to legally go after the owner of an LLC vs a sole proprietorship.

Yes some small businesses are taxed at the individual level, but not enough to where lowering taxes on their owners will do much of anything to help the economy as a whole.

Why is there such distain for someone who is successful? We all strive for success yet when someone attains it we don't like that person? Is it jealousy, is it the fact the all situations are not created equal, I am not sure but owning a small business I know that my customers have been impacted by the current administration so bad that it is unthinkable to consider Obama getting anyone's vote. Maybe my views of success are clouded but I would rather earn my way and make my own choices on healthcare rather than rely on big brother to look out for me and my best interests. As for the "Takers" out there, get off the couch, go turn your food stamps back in, strap on your big boy boots, go knock on a couple doors and go make your own way in life. Life is supposed to be what you make of it, not what lazy program you qualify for due to your own misguided fate. Too many people wanting handouts is squeezing too few people able to create those handouts. The rich create the jobs, pay the overhead, pay for the benefits and provide for those in their circle a life of security. Sure they capitalize off of the efforts of others but so do the "Takers" that contribute nothing to society.

Wake up America, our future depends on your vote this year!

The thing about Big Government is what they "give" you, they can take away.  That is not freedom.

Our founding fathers structured the government so that the people had the power and not the politicians.  Unfortunately over the past 100+ years the politicians have slowly taken away our power... not because they can, but because we let them.

I like you Train, smart guy but here's the thing, we all have ALOT to lose if Romney is elected. Not just women and those who don't have the means to buy equality but the momentum to provide health care and begin to regulate the corruption that is all over that system which is the single largest expense of most small town budgets. Add in the fact that the crowd at the Republican convention compared to what I saw with the Democrats shows you exactly who and what they represent. They stonewalled and said no for 4 years, they resist the changes in  GLOBAL social evolution at every step, they don't represent a damn thing I believe in or live for.  Glad I held off on Obama at -420, may be able to get him at -200 here soon

Yes some small businesses are taxed at the individual level, but not enough to where lowering taxes on their owners will do much of anything to help the economy as a whole.

LLC's do not have to report or pay tax - the profits are a "pass through" to the owners of the LLC. So it is taxed at the individual rate.

LLC's are to insulate the owners from lawsuits not taxes.

Oh and here's proof you are wrong.  You have a choice.  Nearly ALL LLCs file as a corp.  Unless its more beneficial not to, which usually is not the case.  There are tons of corporate loopholes that usually leads to little or no taxes being paid.

Your sitting pretty at -140. It all comes down to Ohio, and that state is going blue.

I stand corrected, but many if not all mom and pop choose the pass through. Unless they have expensive tax accountants.

And if this is the case, regarding the loopholes, what's the point of raising Corporate taxes then?

BTW the USA has one of the highest corporate tax rate in the world, and they still don't pay.  Biden pressed Ryan on exactly what loopholes he'd close and Obama says a lot about it but gives no specifics either.

By the way Delaware, Biden's state he'd been in charge of forever is the loophole capital of the country. Ever look at your credit card statements? Most all are Delaware Corps.

Lastly did you know the NFL is technically non-profit? Talk about the 500 pound elephant in the room no one wants to talk about....

I don't hear ANYTHING about that from either side, especially the Left

SO to turn over roe v wade and say the lilly ledbetter act shouldnt be a law is totally disrespectful to all women in this country!!!!!!!!!!!

I hear ya on the corp tax rate.  Should be lowered and loopholes closed.  Seems simple enough.  Also, need stiffer penalties for corps who send jobs overseas.  Make it very very expensive to hire non-americans (in most circumstsnces.)

Also you are correct.  Delaware is a joke when it comes to corps.  And they don't need much of a physical presence there to take advantage of tax breaks.  I think all you really need is a room the size of a closet.  Or a PO BOX at a Delaware post office.  Something crazy like that.

Also, it's funny you mentioned the NFL.  I just heard about that last week.  That is some MAJOR bs.

The debates don't really matter anyways, people know who they're going to vote for regardless of what happens in the debates.

But why fuck is this in the NFL forum, can we get this shit moved?
