I got skunked last week. Apparently the Cowboys weren't embarrassed enough from their upset loss to the Bucs two weeks ago, since they were embarrassed again last week in Green Bay. I took them as a small dog but by gametime they were actually favored, which means a lot of guys had their wallets emptied by those pathetic losers. And I never would've played the Giants had I known ahead of time that John Harbaugh was going to "punish" Cam Skattebo, his best RB, for his costly fumble against the Redskins in Week Five. Bonehead move by the coach putting the game entirely in Jameis Winston's hands. Moving on. Teams I like will be in bold type. Home teams in CAPS.

Patriots +3 BEARS - Drake Maye has his groove back after struggling through the first three games of the season. He's thrown ten TD passes with just one interception in his last three starts, and if not for a back door cover by the Jets last week New England would be on a 3-0 SU, ATS, ITS (in the stats) roll. They're banged up on the offensive line with at least two starters out, and another one iffy, AND several backups are also out. But three of Chicago's top defenders are out as well. I THINK the Pats are the better team and they've played the tougher schedule, but I'm watching the line movement on this one. Solid lean at the current number but I'm waiting to see if I can get the hook.
That's it for now. Going forward I won't comment on every game, just the ones I've got a lean on. BOL

Giants +10' TEXANS - J.J. McCarthy gets the start at QB for the Giants, but I'm curious to see if John Harbaugh is done punishing Cam Skattebo for his fumble against the Redskins. Granted, ball security is an issue with that guy but he's the best RB they've got. Houston is coming off a huge upset win over the Jaguars in London last week, and could come into this one a little flat. Add in that fact that NFL favorites of over seven points are now 3-13 ATS this season. It's G-men or nobody in this one.
Also leaning Jets -4' over the Dolphins, but I haven't cashed a bet on a favorite all season so I'll probably let this one go.

There's only one that grabs my attention.
