i think the persistence of your stocking of phixer deserves better use somewhere else.
no one ever have gotten rich by following another man's advice, so much is clear.
it is also clear that no matter what happens in the markets, there is always money to be made if one can identify prevailing trends.
and that's where phixer's contribution becomes hugely useful. he is very consistent and by about week 6-8 the direction of his year becomes clear.
then one has the option of either following him or opposing.
either way, with a little bit of financial discipline phixer's thread is probably the best source of ideas for one's own plays.

Thanks Tuco.  This is the type of discourse we should all be having on this site.  Instead, what I presume are grown men, are acting like petulant children and calling each other names. 

Listen folks, if you disagree with someone, that's fine and that's what makes a market.  If you tail someone and lose it is YOUR fault.  If, in your opinion, you think someone is wrong or giving bad advice, you can say so and take the original poster to task.  But please elevate your level of discourse, especially when you disagree with someone.  Or in other words, act like a man.

I found Phixer's thread last season and it helped me tremendously with evaluating NFL entertainment events.  And I can tell you, because I paid attention to what he was telling those of us that bothered to listen, his contrarian manner has served me well this season.  To the point where I went against some of Phixer's picks (and won).  But, all the while, I was using what I learned from Phixer.

So thanks Tuco for trying to elevate the discourse and thank you Phixer for opening some of our eyes.  To paraphrase another great thinker: You have given them eyes, but they still don't see  

I will give you a little bit of advice on Seattle, do not bet them 1st H or FG.

If you must back Seattle, wait until they are down 10-14 points at halftime and wait for their comeback. I have been on point with Seattle last two months. They are the best second half team in the league and they will need it Sunday. I could be wrong, but if you look at Seattle's last 8 games, you will see the trend. good luck,

that's exactly my point.
i've been following phixers posts the last three years and it has been a profitable experience in several ways.
once it becomes clear where his year is going, trading off (back or lay) his stated positions becomes a source of steady profit.
 
unfortunately, trading is something that tests ones nature in the way most men are not capable of honestly dealing with. hence the attempts to find easy answers and put the blame on somebody.
just the nature of things, i suppose.

So when this guy tells you an "order" came down during the Green Bay/Seattle game for GB to "drop" the game, you don't think he deserves to be called out? Are you totally out of your mind?

i certainly do not believe in such theories, simply because organizing such an elaborate deception is financially unprofitable.. too many people need to be involved and financial incentives for potential rats are way higher than whatever "vegas" could offer.

one thing i do know is that bookies now can quantify crowd sensitivity  to information and adjust their lines accordingly.

in my opinion it would be beneficial for every participant here to concentrate our mental efforts on discussing strengths and weaknesses of the case here presented.

i will state what i have stated many times before. i respect all the comments - favoring or critical. i appreciate discussion type of comments - true. but then without the types of absolute nonsense comments like those of log cottage - it would be boring. i knew what i was getting into by saying what i am saying and i know i can sometimes provole crazy responses and i like it as much as i like anything else as i do not mind being bashed or admired. it is all part of this attention seeking venture on my part as well as on others. so all is good and all are wekcome to post their comments. if you can't take the heat - dont go into a kitchen.
