when i was in vegas - the opening line of seattle -3 was quickly doctored by the books to a pick, then it was ne -1 and now is doctored back to a pick. i am saying doctored because obviously there is too much much money riding the pats pick and the books want action - big action - evened if possible. so far they are not doing a great job at it and if by the kick off the balance will be upset - the underdog and least betted team will be a winner.
remember how the tables turned in a gb game at seattle at the conference final? the packers were there - with an interception and made no real play asking to lose the game. even after an ot it was obviosu packers got an "order" to drop the game and they did.

i think this statement is way out of line.
pro sports is entertainment, not a sporting competition, there is enough evidence to that. still..
claiming a fix to hugely monitored contest is rather presumptuous. there is plenty of research done on decision making under uncertainty, and, small wonder.. 4th and short is one of classic cases.

saying games are fixed/altered by a ref/refs is something that can happen since it involves one or two ppl to manipulate this even thou it can fail sometimes...
but to say GB got the order to drop the game??? just wow!! thats basically saying the whole league/owners/players/refs everyone is in on the fix and they all have the discipline to not talk about it when they retire.

Deja Vu? Seattle is facing again a team that looks invincible? Again opens up in a crazy -3 line which is now at Pick? Will it wipe the Pats out like it did to the Broncos last season? Will the Pats pay for consecutive Super Bowl wins by consecutive Super Bowl loses? Is this a real football game? Was the Broncos losing to the Colts a real game? What happened to the Packers against the Seahawks? What is happening with the Seahawks since that last second hail mary with the replacement refs? What is going on here? Monday newspapers will say - the Seahawks' defense beat the Patriots offense with 3 interceptions turned into two TD's and one FG. The Patriots answered only with two TD's from Brady ton Bronkowski. 17-14 Seahawks. Ha ha Ha . Not really. I am not into Nostradamus predictions which are always easy decipher after something happens but not possible to know what will happen before it does. Not at all. I simply do not see the Patriots offense in Arizona infiltrating Seahawks' defense the way they did infiltrate Colts' defense at Foxboro. Arizona is not Foxboro and the Seahawks are not the Colts. Nor offensively or defensively. Match ups are mostly on the Seahawks' side and LVSC did not release that inviting Patriots +3 line only for laughs.
