Bulger is really a good QB.Its not his fault he has to get his head examined every dropback he takes. Give him the protection and not washed up WR's and he will make the pro bowl.Garrard may drop off this year but imo I think he will continue where he left off.IMO the Jags take the AFC south. Colts make playoffs as a wild card.I know alot will attack me for it but the Jags are young and hungry and have a defense with an adequate offense to make a serious run this year in the AFC.Just remember this post about the Jags. Hoping to get some good value on them early in the season.

i swear either some of you guys are haters or don't know shit about football. i am a raven fan so i have no bias here. here are the facts for you guys...as they say the stats don't lie.

Romo was number 5 in rating. 3rd in passing yards, 2nd in touchdowns, completed 65% of his passes, 2nd best yards per attempt, first in 3rd down QB rating and 3rd downs converted AND THIS WAS HIS FIRST FULL YEAR AS A STARTER!!!

don't start saying yeah but he has great weapons. he has TO and Witten. Carson has CJ, TJ, Henry. Manning has harrison, wayne, clark, gonzalez. brady has moss welker, stallworth, watson.

Yeah, I think it's painfully obvious that the guys who are saying that Romo doesn't belong are either haters or those A.B.C. (Anybody But Cowboys) fans...

And those with McNabb in there are still living in the past. This is 2008 people, no way in hell he is top 5 this year OR even last year...lay off the crack-pipe fellas!

Excuse me but 89.9 was good enough for 7th in the league. I mean do you see what type of morons we have to deal with on a regular basis? MCNABB 89.9, 7th in the league rating, and injured and constant ridicule for first 10 games of season.

I love this Mcnabb fight, cause I cant lose. No one can tell me that Donovan McNabb isnt a premiere quarterback in this league. I dont even like the fukin eagles, lol.

Premiere???? Do you feel well? You may need some medicine.

Look @ McN  stats.........with all of those good teams he went to the Big Game once........When he got there they jacked him for 3 balls.  In 25 years no one will mention this guy except his Mom and philly fans.

The worst part of it all is yet to come. Back there looking like an arthritic old man running in snow with his old ass.   I would rather watch a mule get shoes before I watch that carnival on Sunday.

Suckerfree, his WRs have beens suspect outside of TO, until now w/Curtis.  Even Curtis is marginal.

Here's the deal.  It is glaringly obvious that you don't know your ass from page 8 when it comes to the game.  Add to the fact that you don't watch the guy game in and game out.

I'll help you out here and give you a little lesson in footbal 101.

You see son, it isn't easy to throw against a def when THROUGHOUT the course of your career you have avg @ best WRs and you THROW THE BALL MORE THAN YOU RUN.
It makes things easy for a def to pin back their ears and bring the heat.

Now son, I'm willing to bet you haven't ever buttoned a chinstrap let alone tied a pair of spikes on for any sporting event.  I'm looking past all that and thinking that maybe this year your square head finally gets it.

I'll take it a step further.  I have a couple buddies that are coaches/frontoffice types in the league.  They constantly bust my balls about how the Philly fans are morons and don't realize that this guy is a stud.  In philly the guy gets his ass kicked on sports radio (mostly from ill informed boys like yourself) by guys looking to boost ratings and be negative.

Don't listen to me, but I'd think that people who make a nice living in the game might know a tad more than some bozo who has an axe to grind b/c he drafted him for his fantasy team and got injured (and played through it) etc.

Let's see what the guy does this season.

So I'm very new to this site. But I found this area of the forum and thought I'd talk a little about the recent success I've had with this system I've picked up. So it's a betting system by John Morrison which I've been using since late March. With his system he guarantees a 97% win percentage in MLB & NBA! Since I've had it I'm actually 100% with 17 wins to ZERO losses. I happened to catch the tail end of the NBA season and went to a quick 4-0, and since then have gone 13-0 in MLB. I was skeptical at first but this guy really knows his stuff. Over the past four MLB & NBA seasons combined John has a record of 519 wins to 15 losses! To be honest I've never really won that much until I picked up his system, definitely recommend it to anyone. To check it out for your self just go to https://orange2006.betsports.hop.clickbank.net/

That may have been a little harsh.  I apologize if you just dont know any better.  I doubt that's the case, but if it is, I'm sorry.

I think if McNabb can stay healthy he will easily be one of the better QB's in the league.  He actually is not that old considering that there are many QB's that play into their late 30's.  If the Eagles can give him some talent anytime soon (his receivers really have been pathedic over the years, and pathedic is probably being too nice), he has the ability to put up really nice numbers.  But that all goes out the window if he cant stay healthy.  This is just one case where a player got into the wrong system.  What would have happened had NE drafted him?  Or Pittsburgh?  Or Dallas?  All those teams just have better organizations and generally more talent around their QB's.  Oh well.  I just think the excessive bashing of this guy is uncalled for.  JMO.

There's a link to his career numbers, which aren't all that bad.  He really has taken a beating over the years.

2004 is an excellent year, 2001 is a great year........the rest of those years are average QB play. Numbers do not lie...

Sometimes you get a guy who wins late and ugly....Montana.......where the players heart circumvents the numbers..... Mcnab has not even won...so we can not even use that logic.

Steelcash, great link.  Went to his playoff stats on that site.  Some of those that are a bit misinformed should look @ who he thew TDs to in the playoffs.   The list isn't exactly filled with HOFers.

Sucker----the guy is 7-5 in the playoffs (SB loss to Brady & Pats, which certainly isn't a horrible loss-EVEN a clueless fan such as yourself should agree). Keep in mind that when they went to the SB To was injured throughout the playoofs and was sidelined. Peyton is 7-7 w/a SB win.

Based on your logic of "winning", guys like Marino, Fouts, Kelly etc. all sucked as well right?

What have guys like Palmer and Brees won?

Also, based on your theory we have to label Trent Dilfer (Ravens) as a "winner" or great?

Do not put words in my mouth kid.  I said sometimes, not always there is a huge difference in there.

If you had a choice at any QB your telling me your first choice would be Marino or Fouts all-time????  The took an entire career to prove they can't win. 7-5 in the playoffs is OK......

I am sure Mcnabb would have went lower in the draft if people would have known he has not won a superbowl @ this point and he would be running a 6.2  40 yard.

This year will be great, I bet he does not make it the entire season for a number of reasons.  I can't wait!

TOP 5 this year.....   He will be one year older and one year uglier than last year is all.
