I'll admit robbie, McNabb was a push, but given my options being Flacco or Pennington, I gave it to him.

This is based on this year's performance and what each qb means to the success of his respective team.  If you are talking career, you have to bring Brady, McNabb, Favre, Hasselbeck into the mix.

Whomever thinks Romo is a Top Five QB in the NFL is crazy. Everytime he needs to come through he throws a pick. He has never won a playoff game in his Top Five Career! Until he wins a playoff game I think we need to keep his name out of this topic.

this thread is great, lots of really good stuff here...and also some really funny stuff too....the guys mentioning brees are right, i don't see how you don't put his name in the top 5, and i've seen lots of lists without him...there are ppl putting jason campbell and trent edwards in the top 5...now that's scary, b/c those ppl actually think they're right....1 guy said tom brady is overrated? whoa....is there a more accurate guy in the league?

and i really like ben, and i thought it was funny earlier this yr when i was reading pit fans wanting him benched in favor of leftwich, all b/c of a bad stretch....but the truth is, that stretch was horrible, and that is why he's #6 on my list....b/c even tho we just watched romo have a really awful game in pit, it was 1 game, and we've seen ben have about 4 bad games in a row...romo doesn't do that

the 1st 3 on my list are a given, i don't see how ppl can argue against those guys...even when peyton is off, he's better than 80% of the qbs...brees only turns the ball over b/c his coach asks him to throw the ball more than anyone in the league....warner doesn't get enough love, but when you look at his #s, and compare them to some of the all-time greats, you really have to give him his due

and those of you who want to keep hating on romo will prob wonder how we can still list him top 5 after today, and say something like, "ben just beat romo today!!".....well, shaun hill just beat brett favre today too, and i doubt you're ready to give favre's hof induction to hill

McNabbs yearly stats are right up there with Ben and Eli (considering the AFC north has 2 teams combined as 5-20-1......Ben has an easy division)
