Been a huge Giants fan for years and follow them religiously. It's been a roller coaster ride this year as a fan. When they are playing good ball, they can play with any of the top teams in the league. They won in NE (I know, horrible defense), had an opportunity to beat SF on the road, and hung with GB down to the last drive of the game. Even though they lost to GB, I think it was one of their biggest "wins" of the season. Between playing a competitive game against GB and coming back to beat DAL, I think they were able to find some of their attitude, competitiveness, and swagger that had been lacking. If you follow Giants games, the loss to WAS wasn't a complete surprise, especially this year after the MIA and SEA games. They are prone to "let down" games. They finished the season strong and won against lesser opponents that they should have beat. Over their last 3 games, their defense has allowed 17 pts/g, and 92 yds/g rushing (30 yds/g below their season average). This includes 11 sacks and a +4 in the turnover category over their last 2 games.
Basically, if the Giants can stop the run, get pressure on the QB, and win the turnover battle, I see them winning the game. This will be a huge statement game to me as a fan. Even if we lose on Sunday, I am just hoping that the Giants play with passion and to the level that they are capable of. As seems the case with both teams, you never know which team is going to show up any given Sunday I can't, and I can't wait for Sunday to get here. Best of luck to everyone with their bets. Hopefully, both the ATL +3 bettors and Giants fans will be happy after the game.
