Does this spread seem confusing to anyone else other than me?
like why wouldn’t you take +3.5 with Josh Allen and possibly cover by a hook?
Is Josh Allen banged up? Why are they underdogs by that much?

I think this could be it. I've been hearing stuff that he could have some kind of injury that isn't being reported, or it's nothing at all. No one knows.
But there's speculation that he took a helmet to the knee vs the Chargers in week 3, and hasn't been right since.
Just what I've read and heard, I have no clue.

Sounds like a bunch of malarky to me.

This is old school.
Unfortunately not anymore. HFA had been reduced by all power ranking people/sites for quite some time now.
For instance, just look at Jeff Sagarin's rankings page. That dude has been around forever. And at one point his system was regarded as "thee" foundation for the books spreads.
Any who, he gives .60 for HFA as of week 5.

@Enfuego9
That's correct.
All I do is go on a gambling forum and make shit up just for giggles.
What's the play tonight? Would love to know from someone that's on fire.

@the1toturn2
Valid. Just going by general rule of thumb.
I understand +3.5 for Allen is amazing much like if it was Tom Brady,
but OP suggesting its way off
both teams are strong and about even with rams having the better D and are at home
Line isn’t fishy Its right where it should be.

@ChOmP
Here's a little something I've been looking at. I'm always looking for niche angles and stuff.
Going into it, I initially thought that it could be a bad body clock spot for the Bills, considering they are on East Coast time, and starting a game super late on the West coast.
Since 2018(Josh Allen era) the Bills have played only 6 total games on the west coast. Record 5-1 su. PS=32, PA=22.16
3 of those games have been at night. @SF, @LAR, @LAC. Record 3-0. PS=29.66, PA=18.66
The last time that the Bills with Josh Alllen played on the west coast was against the Rams in 2024. Where they lost 42-44 in a wild barn burner of a game.

Well other than Josh Allen being hurt.. Rams offensive line run blocking is better than Bills defensive line as far as the run game goes.. Josh Allen being banged up makes me think the run game might be more involved which could burn more clock.. stafford is probably good for 1 INT.. his ratio is terrible 6TDs to 6 INTs.. he’s had at least one INT per game.. last two games he had 2 each game..so that could burn some clock.. changing fields 3&outs with bills versus rams defense..the under 54.5 seems like a possible option in my opinion.. I’m sure everyone is on the Over..
