it wasnt luck but the game that new england played against the chargers had a lot to do with the comeback. it was a tough and physical game that really wore them down. brushci and colvin were both hurt. seau was out and thomas wasnt with the pats yet. so really vrabel was the only healthy LB. rodney harrison was out as well. that is why dallas clark had a huge game. the colts were able to exploit that advantage. the new england defense could not compete with the speed of indy's fresh and healthy offense. i would have liked to see him come back from 18 had there not been any injuries. as a matter of fact he had 2 chances late to score a td in the 4th and failed on both attempts. if u give brady 2 chances in the 4th im sure he would score once.

Yes Brady threw 50 TD's, but if u think back, Manning had 49 going into the last game and saw little action. Think he threw 2 passes then was out. Which other of Manning's records did Brady obliterate? I know he didnt beat his passer rating record. In fact this is Brady's first year with a rating above 92.

Ok... Vanderjagt's kick would have tied the game vs Pittsburgh, not won it. While Vinatieri is a great kicker, he can't win it without someone getting him in position to do so.
Secondly, Dion Branch = clutch postseason receiver? WTF?
Since he left NE Branch has looked terrible, even when he is not hurt. At best he is the 3rd best receiver on Seattle and Brady made him look fantastic. Look at how Brady makes Gaffney look. Gaffney couldn't do trash for the Texans, and now he has had a productive season.
Personally I would favor Brady because he has won 3 Super Bowls. Many, many quarterbacks have great players around them and don't win the Super Bowl, it is the great ones that come through and win regardless of the team situation.
Although I do like Payton as well, I just think that Brady gets the nod in a head-to-head matchup.

yo dawg, your a devils fan................... you can't be serious.
if the debate was ALL ABOUT HARDWARE, yeah Brady's better... if it's about about who's a better quaterback.... it's Manning.
but since there is no REAL answer to the debate, its opinion based... it's like asking what franchise was a greater dynasty.. the Celtics or Yankees.... Yankees won more, but the Celtics had a hall of famer at nearly every position and won like 8 straight.....
"but it's expected a Devils fan wouldn't know what he's talking about"...........dick
